No Marked Vegan Options - Edit
Went there after another local joint was closed early without notice😒
Read moreWe noticed on a sign that they have vegan options so we walked over. There was someone out front and I asked what vegan options they have - they responded with 'we have vegetarian options.'
In another place I would maybe trust that the food could be made vegan. Even though this is Gibraltar and not per se Spain, the proximity to a country where vegan locals have said they can't trust that food will be made without meat, never mind without milk and eggs, did not make me trust them :(
I'm sorry if this is bringing a hater energy to the otherwise positive reviews of the place. If a local could tell me they trust the joint then I'd happily eat there.

Very helpful staff, there was so much to choose from. You decide what you want and basically they make it vegan. It was lovely food. Recommended!

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Told us to just choose what we wanted and they would speak with the chef to check if it could be made vegan. I chose the vegetable Szechuan and veg fried rice. Delicious!

This place has lot of veggie and vegan options clearly marked. Good Indian options and my son enjoyed the sushi and noodles. Something for everyone!

Fern's is a great family run place, and our server was so helpful in explaining everything on the menu which could be made vegan. We had the mock duck, which was great, and shared a couple of curries and roti, which were lovely.
