I found that vegan and vegetarian options in Uzbekistan are often mixed up and misunderstood, but that was not the case here. They offer clearly marked vegan and vegetarian dishes, and there were plenty of options available. We tried a Lebanese roll with aubergine and walnuts, which was really delicious, as well as a falafel wrap, which was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Read moreThey also offer vegan desserts, coffee, iced coffee, and more. The iced teas are made from high-quality ingredients, so they are definitely worth trying too.
Unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays, so we were only able to visit once.

Amazing food in a great location and friendly staff - Edit
This place is amazing. The best food I've had in Central Asia. I had, I think, every vegan option over the 4 times I visited during my stay in Samarkand, with getting a to go option twice as well for day trips the following days. The open faced sandwich was maybe my favorite, but it was all great. Side salad option was delicious too with pickled veggies. And great dessert options as well. Definitely a highlight in Samarkand.

We went back everyday while in Samarkand. Excellent vegan food (especially the Turkish lentil soup), great desserts (that lemon cake 🥰) and fantastic coffee!
