Food was OK, avoid the smoothies if you value your colon. Got severe food poisoning that I'm still dealing with 5 days later. Quite wierd vibe as well.

Read moreIt was a lot weird about this place but the worst was the food poisoning my husband got. We ate the same food the whole day and the day before except here. Most likely the smoothie was to blame. Should probably not have taken a sip after seeing how dirty the machine looked but we though maybe it was just well used and old. Also a cat was allowed to walk on the surface the drinks as being made (on the terrace of the second floor).
Did not see a sink there, and the knives just lay there on the counter. Unsure how they cleaned those.. The food was luckily prepared inside on the first floor.
The whole place was also really warm, no air con inside, we sat on the terrace on the second floor. Might have been better on the third floor.
On the menu they said they had three kinds of kombucha, but when I ordered they said they only had one so I went with that one. After a while she came back and explained that it was bad and that I should ordet something else. I went with the cold coconut from the menu. Arter a while I was told they did not have any cold coconuts. We were the only costumers so I found it weird that they did not have any cold ones left. I said it was ok as I did not want anything Else, but warm coconut water is not that good.
We have received so good customer service the whole time we have been here, but here the communication was just weird, and when we wanted to pay and leave we had to go down stairs and pay there as there was no one to signal upstairs.
The food was ok but but the whole experience was just weird even before the sympoms of food poisoning kicked in (which came on pretty immediatly after leaving the place). Have eaten much better food on all the other restaurants we have tried here at Gili Trawangan.

I stumbled across this one. The name has changed to just “Bliss Cuisine”, and I believe they just recently updated their menu. Everything vego, including the “wings”, and many vegan options.
Read moreI had the ‘Butter “Chickin”’, it was nice but really just a veggie curry (chickpea and potato)! The portion was massive and the homemade bread was so fresh. Also got the strawberry mocktail which was very tasty. Definitely want to come back for some of the other options too.

This restaurant offers a city and cute interior. The view from the rooftop terrace is great. A lot of healthy dishes can be bought here. I liked the Buddha bowl very much. Can recommend.

Lots of great options. The fresh spring rolls were fantastic. Another reviewer said they were overcharged - they undercharged us until we corrected it. They're just calculating by hand and can make mistakes.

Inventive yummy food, quite a big menu and a very small kitchen so was a bit of a wait but was worth it. Very yummy. I had the burger which was good and my boyfriend had the buffalo 'wings'.

We had 3 meals here and they were all very yummy.

The staff were polite and understood what we wanted.
The chocolate smoothie was soooo good.
The buffalo wings wrap was THE BEST for us (we had it twice) and the tofu satay as well.
We had the sesame orange tofu which was good too but not as good as the previous two I mentioned.
The aubergine bread tapa was average and needed a bit of more sauce.
We had the blueberry cheesecake which was nice but way too frozen but the chocolate cheesecake was divine!
Pros: Chocolate smoothie and buffalo wings wrap, Quiet area and beautiful atmosphere , Many vegan options
Cons: Quite hot unless you go to the top, Having to remove shoes (floor wasn’t very clean), Wish they had more vegan desserts

I would have love to give more stars, but my experience was just not it. I came here for dinner and sat inside upstairs. They could improve the vibe here. The staff was not very friendly and the waiter didn’t even say anything, no smile, no contact. Not a nice atmosphere.

Amazing Menu and nice staff - Edit
The staff were clearly very busy so our food did take a while but apart from that, well priced and super delicious! Porridge was a little different than i expected and tasted a little bit like a curry- no hate, f*ckin love a curry, think it was just the tumeric in it! Also they were out on most of the cakes but we did get to try 2!

We waited literally over 1h for our food to be prepared, the restaurant was almost empty and it still took so long, I can just imagine how much it would take if there was more people. The food was alright, the portions were very small especially the amount of rice you get for 20k, it was a joke. There is no AC and the fans don't work properly, it was so hot. They don't accept cards only cash and don't give you a receipt, just write down on the paper and counted over 100k more for our order and we had to recount it ourselves and then they also expect tips when getting change. I would give them 1 star for the slow and bad service, portion sizes vs price.

Menu offers several vegan options as smoothie bowls, ratatouille, poke bowls, stews and wraps. I decided to go for the golden lentil stew which comes with flat bread. I loved the selection of veggies in it which gave the dish a good and fresh taste. Unfortunately, the broth was a bit lacking in flavor. The portion was really big, I was totally stuffed afterwards. The service was really nice and welcoming and don't miss going upstairs to eat your food. It's such a beautiful seating, absolutely stunning.

On February 7th, my wife and I visited this 3-story restaurant while waiting for our hotel room to be ready. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and great service. We were thrilled to find a vegan place even on a small island like Gili Trawangan. We ordered the Buddha bowl, which was fantastic - the cheesy dressing was the highlight of the dish. The falafel wrap was also very good, and we highly recommend trying the rice paper rolls. We enjoyed the rice paper rolls so much that we even got them for takeout. The cranberry juice was refreshing, and it was freshly squeezed rather than from a packaged juice box, so, it wasn't so sweet. Although the café was empty when we arrived, the quality of the food more than made up for any shortcomings in the service. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience at this restaurant.
