A must visit in Copenhagen - Edit
We loved visiting Rørt and trying traditional Danish food! They had 3 vegan options on their small menu which was excellent. There are also plenty of other vegan options at the market.

Danish specialty in vegan! - Edit
We had already kind of given up on getting vegan smørrebrød when we accidentally saw this place while eating at Souls. So we came back the next day for breakfast and the smørrebrød and avocado toast were great.

A great smørrebrød experience - Edit
I wanted to try Danish smørrebrød on my trip and Rørt was an excellent answer to that desire. I think they had three vegan options, but I only took two, they were enough if you're moderately hungry.
Read moreThe place is located in a food court and has a nice terrace, at least on a warm day. Not sure how many seats they have if the weather doesn't permit outdoor seating.

Excellent Vegan Smørrebrød - Edit
Delicious vegan smørrebrød with fresh, high-quality ingredients and great flavors. It was beautifully presented, full of taste, and a wonderful plant-based option. I would definitely come back!

Don’t get this - Edit
I got the Jerusalem artichoke sandwich and it was bland, oily, and made me sick. Do not recommend.

Amazing flavours - Edit
I have what I think they called the green trio, which was the 3 plant based options for 139kr and slightly cheaper than the other deals. All 3 were really good and worked well together: mushroom, Jerusalem artichoke and celeriac.

Green combo is good - Edit
Rye bread is one of my least favorite foods (except for animal-based ones of course), but here I actually really liked it. The toasted version is an upgrade, and this place has delicious toppings. I would go again!

Awesome! - Edit
There are three vegan smørrebrød on offer and you can try all three for 125 kroner. The mushaboom and Ingrid spice sandwiches were excellent, while the sunchoke and mayo one was not my favorite. It was still good but for me it was the weak link in the trio. They don’t skimp on the toppings and I couldn’t finish the toasts, and ended ups scraping the toppings off the toast so I could finish more of them! A great lunch if you’re checking out the famous food hall.
