Loved their dosas for years! - Edit
I was really pleased to hear when the owner of Riverside Vegetaria in Kingston opened this place - it meant I could still get their dosas, which I’ve been enjoying for years! There are a lot of great healthy options on the menu here but I highly recommend you try the dosa. Perfect to pair with a trip to Hampton Court Palace.

Great vegan pop-up from a respected SW London restaurateur - Edit
We were regulars at the Riverside Vegetaria for decades and so were upset when it closed, and delighted when Ritchie opened this new pop-up a stone's throw from Hampton Court.
Read moreThe Canela Cafe, where the pop-up is, is comfortable and relaxed. Ritchie is serving the same sort of healthy "vegetable-forward" cuisine that we enjoyed in the Riverside - but now the menu is entirely vegan. There are a number of gluten-free options, including a chocolate fudge cake.
They don't sell alcohol but you can bring your own (I think there's a small corkage charge).
It's easily reached from central London (trains from Waterloo and Clapham Junction) and is right opposite Hampton Court Station (also a good choice after visiting the palace, of course). Well-behaved dogs are welcomed.
