Great start to the day! - Edit
As we drove left off the main road on to the side street we saw Rise on the left and almost immediately after a right turn into a pay and display Carpark.
Read moreThe lovely interior was welcoming on such a cold winters morning.
We had for breakfast the Rise Shine Breakfast, and the Miso Mushroom Toast. B had a hot cocoa and I had the Red Velvet.
The food was colourful and we loved the edible flowers, and tasty. We’d definitely eat here again.

Great restaurant - Edit
Nice food, cute decor and friendly service. Fantastic place.
Read moreI recommend aubergine curry and cauliflower bites from the evening menu. Breakfast/lunch menu has a great omlet and delicious tofu and cress sandwich.
We were in Malvern for a long weekend and visited 4 times!
Also interesting hot drinks. The blue one was a bit odd tasting but the one with maca and ashwaganda was really tasty.
The only thing I would change I would recommend switching from alpro oat to another milk, as I really don't like how this milk affects the taste of coffee.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly and cute decor , All vegan

Best chickpea omlette - Edit
I stopped in here on the way to another part of Worcestershire, and I had the chickpea omlette and a turmeric latte. I think it was the best chickpea omlette I’ve ever had! And I got the baby roasties with it. I loved the quirky feel to the place. I don’t live in the area which is a shame but if I’m ever passing again I’d definitely call back in,

Healthy food at its finest in a happy cafe - Edit
Rise is a rare and wonderful discovery, slightly hidden away in the heart of Malvern
Read moreVegans are fairly well catered for nowadays, but whole-food fully plant based meals that are so well nutritionally balanced are staggeringly difficult to find. Rise is hands down the best place we have found for whole-food plant based choice.
This is a cafe for everyone; the food is fresh and healthy but is not weird or unfamiliar. The owners have clearly taken great care to create menus with high nutritional value and great flavours. This is *not* junk vegan food. The food looks and tastes like real food, and is beautifully presented. Rise serves healthy food at its finest.
We visit several times a month and over the past year have tried almost everything from the menu; it is all excellent and always beautifully presented.
The staff clearly enjoy their work and are friendly and professional. It is a very happy place to go for a drink or a meal and we are so glad that Rise will be open weekly on Friday evenings too now.
Pros: Great choice of whole 100% plant based food, Nutritionally balanced and beautifully presented , Happy atmosphere
Cons: Not many tables

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Came here with friends for brunch when visiting Malvern. We had a hard time choosing, everything on the menu looked so delicious. Their ethos is fab and service was quick and friendly. I had the tofu Benedict and some rainbow pancakes, both super tasty! Another excellent find from Happy Cow 🤩

Wonderful food and vibes - Edit
We have lots of fantastic vegan restaurants in London but this place is a cut above the rest. Such rich flavours, perfect portions and beautiful plating. The staff are also really lovely. Hands down the best vegan breakfast I've had. Can't wait to return!

Best vegan breakfast... ever - Edit
Besides the breathtaking view of Malvern Hills, this genuine and welcoming little vegan café was the highlight of our stay. Both my partner and I are huge foodies trying different vegan cuisines wherever we go, and Rise Plant Kitchen made us rethink of what we thought of delicious breakfasts. From their protein boosted omelette (which is THE right way to start your day) through their fully loaded toast and mind-blowing hollandaise covered phenomenon we finished our indulgence with their simply beautiful rainbow pancake. In the top of that their drink selection is one of a kind - just like their service. 5 stars and a heart is my final rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💚

Tasty but a bit pricy - Edit
I understand that organic produce is usually quite expensive due to a lack of availability but despite the price it is a nice little round the corner café with a nice vibe the food was pretty tasty and if you are a vegan this is a must go if you are around Malvern

Great ethos - Edit
I really loved the look of this place and was really looking forward to eating here, especially finding that there was a gluten free burger on the menu. The tempeh, penaut, jam flavour combo is genius and was very tasty however it was disappointing that the gf option meant two pieces of small bread instead of a burger bun, it was served with a very cold side salad, at £12.50 it seemed not great value for money even when taking into consideration the use of organic produce etc. I wish I had ordered the breakfast or pancakes instead which looked amazing. Really like that they make things inhouse and their ethos towards healthy nourishing plant based food and not fast food. Really worth a visit and if I had ordered differently I would probably be giving it 5 stars.

Lovely spot! - Edit
A really lovely place to find whilst in Malvern, as it's 100% vegan (it doesn't state this anywhere though, just says 'plant kitchen' so had to double check just in case) - friendly staff and tasty food, although the portion size of a wrap was very small (think meal-deal wrap size), so, I'd try a main meal next time. Filled us up nonetheless!

Outstanding - Edit
The menu is wonderfully diverse; one of the few places where we wanted to try everything. The format choice (wraps, omelettes, pancakes, curries), colours and flavours are worthy of a first class restaurant, let alone a modest “kitchen”. We loved it so much we ate brunch there on three consecutive days.

Nice but overpriced - Edit
I like to support independent local businesses whenever I can, but its off putting when the cost is so high sadly. Not much change from £20 for two sandwiches and a smoothie?? (Jackfruit sandwich I was told by my guest wasn't very nice). We left still hungry. I know its a small ethical vegan business, but you are competing with big chains who have got their act together on portions, taste and price. I know where Ill be heading next time, sorry😒
Read morePros: Independent, ethical, friendly

We’re sorry you had a bad experience with us. We use organic, good quality produce and nearly everything in the cafe is made in-house, which I know most big chains don’t do…. So, £17.50 for 2 people surely isn’t too bad?
Read moreWe are generous in our portions, particularly our hot food menu, so maybe a better option next time. Appreciate the feedback though, please let us know in the future on the day so we can do our best to ensure quality control for staff working.
