Cosy lunch - Edit
We visited after a walk in Malvern Hills and had the most delicious lunch. The hot drinks (PSL and hazelnut hot choc) were so lovely and felt so festive. We had the Reuben and Rise and Shine Wrap. Generous fillings and full of flavour. The sticky toffee cake was the best I’ve ever had! Love the ethos of the place too ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rise - Edit
Cosy, small cafe with a focus on WFPB and sustainability. A few tables inside and outside, may need to wait for a table at busy times. I had the Rise Royale for brunch which arrived quite promptly and was a substantial portion. Fresh flavours, but for me didn’t quite hit the 5* mark as the tofu was just a thick slab and not flavoured. I’d happily return when in the area again.

Amazing - Edit
Visited Gt Malvern while away for the weekend. After reading positive reviews, we decided to give Rise Plant Kitchen a try. Everything on the menu sounded inviting, we wanted to try it all! I decided to go for the Carrot Lox Crispbreads, my husband had the Korean Tofu bites. We followed this with a stack of pancakes smothered in Chia jam, white chocolate & macadamia nuts. I think it’s safe to say we enjoyed every mouthful. The only negative is we live too far away to make this a regular thing.

Varied, interesting menu - Edit
It was great being at an all vegan cafe and so being able to choose anything I fancied off the menu. Hard to choose though! I had the quiche which was nice although a small portion, especially compared to the protein omelette one of my family members had! It’s a small space so felt a bit too warm and the noise of the blender was something else, so incredibly loud. I found that very disruptive as it was hard to hold a conversation whenever it was on and it was a regular occurrence.

Cons: Extremely noisy blender, Small portions for money

Vegan food heaven - Edit
I liked that everything was vegan and they offered some glutenfree options. Although they actually served me the gluten breakfast option, but when I saw the bread, I knew that couldn't possibly be glutenfree. So they exchanged it. For the pancakes, they could add some fruits and/or yoghurt, as we found it a bit dry. For the smoothies, we would have preferred cold milk, as they were served quite warm. But in total we were really happy with the options and the quality.

Risen indeed! - Edit
Bowled over by the choice of beverages - very much of the moment. Even a simple falafel wrap was bursting with flavours and the cookie - perfectly gooey!

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful area - Edit
A bit of a delayed review as we went in August but feeling like we're due another visit!
Read moreWe had a lovely breakfast before our walk up the hills- I had a breakfast wrap and my partner had the full English style breakfast. Both were tasty and filling for a good price, as was the unpictured Almond croissant that I was very excited to see!

Lovely little café - Edit
Small café tucked away just off the high street, with lots of unique and intriguing options (drinks and food) as well as normal/popular items. Had a mocha and a croissant, which were both awesome, and my partner had a beetroot latte (which is pink and tasted great). Decor is nice, and friendly staff too. Definitely worth a pit stop when in Malvern. EDIT: been back for food aand the Tofu Benedict is just perfection! 😍

Great start to the day! - Edit
As we drove left off the main road on to the side street we saw Rise on the left and almost immediately after a right turn into a pay and display Carpark.
Read moreThe lovely interior was welcoming on such a cold winters morning.
We had for breakfast the Rise Shine Breakfast, and the Miso Mushroom Toast. B had a hot cocoa and I had the Red Velvet.
The food was colourful and we loved the edible flowers, and tasty. We’d definitely eat here again.

Great restaurant - Edit
Nice food, cute decor and friendly service. Fantastic place.
Read moreI recommend aubergine curry and cauliflower bites from the evening menu. Breakfast/lunch menu has a great omlet and delicious tofu and cress sandwich.
We were in Malvern for a long weekend and visited 4 times!
Also interesting hot drinks. The blue one was a bit odd tasting but the one with maca and ashwaganda was really tasty.
The only thing I would change I would recommend switching from alpro oat to another milk, as I really don't like how this milk affects the taste of coffee.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly and cute decor , All vegan

Best chickpea omlette - Edit
I stopped in here on the way to another part of Worcestershire, and I had the chickpea omlette and a turmeric latte. I think it was the best chickpea omlette I’ve ever had! And I got the baby roasties with it. I loved the quirky feel to the place. I don’t live in the area which is a shame but if I’m ever passing again I’d definitely call back in,

Healthy food at its finest in a happy cafe - Edit
Rise is a rare and wonderful discovery, slightly hidden away in the heart of Malvern
Read moreVegans are fairly well catered for nowadays, but whole-food fully plant based meals that are so well nutritionally balanced are staggeringly difficult to find. Rise is hands down the best place we have found for whole-food plant based choice.
This is a cafe for everyone; the food is fresh and healthy but is not weird or unfamiliar. The owners have clearly taken great care to create menus with high nutritional value and great flavours. This is *not* junk vegan food. The food looks and tastes like real food, and is beautifully presented. Rise serves healthy food at its finest.
We visit several times a month and over the past year have tried almost everything from the menu; it is all excellent and always beautifully presented.
The staff clearly enjoy their work and are friendly and professional. It is a very happy place to go for a drink or a meal and we are so glad that Rise will be open weekly on Friday evenings too now.
Pros: Great choice of whole 100% plant based food, Nutritionally balanced and beautifully presented , Happy atmosphere
Cons: Not many tables

We have lots of fantastic vegan restaurants in London but this place is a cut above the rest. Such rich flavours, perfect portions and beautiful plating. The staff are also really lovely. Hands down the best vegan breakfast I've had. Can't wait to return!

Best vegan breakfast... ever - Edit
Besides the breathtaking view of Malvern Hills, this genuine and welcoming little vegan café was the highlight of our stay. Both my partner and I are huge foodies trying different vegan cuisines wherever we go, and Rise Plant Kitchen made us rethink of what we thought of delicious breakfasts. From their protein boosted omelette (which is THE right way to start your day) through their fully loaded toast and mind-blowing hollandaise covered phenomenon we finished our indulgence with their simply beautiful rainbow pancake. In the top of that their drink selection is one of a kind - just like their service. 5 stars and a heart is my final rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💚

Tasty but a bit pricy - Edit
I understand that organic produce is usually quite expensive due to a lack of availability but despite the price it is a nice little round the corner café with a nice vibe the food was pretty tasty and if you are a vegan this is a must go if you are around Malvern
