Wholesome cafe but desperately needs to improve its labels - Edit
This is a lovely, popular cafe selling some good homemade salads, cakes and pastries however despite the fact it is mostly vegan, few things are properly labelled to indicate this.

Ripe is great! I love their coffee and mushroom sausage rolls, my wife loves their salad bowls and sourdough.

This is a beautiful little cafe with such a nice atmosphere and really friendly staff that gave us a warm welcome.

Great Find For Vegan Lunch - Edit
Vegan options in Ulverston are few so it was a relief to get a table inside Ripe which has now moved to premises on the main street. Ordered two salad pots of potato, runner beans with spinach pesto and a carrot, spring onion and peanut salad topped with falafel. Absolutely delicious. There were lots of vegan cakes too. Lovely little place too for chilling out...all packaging and cutlery is biodegradable.
