A really nice place - Edit
Make sure you try and book beforehand, especially in the busy season! The food was really lovely, they bring you out a free appetiser which is vegan, then we shared a hummus and falafel board for a starter which was so so good - tell them you’re vegan and they’ll make sure all the sauces are vegan for you. Then for our main I had a madman which was lovely and creamy and my partner had a nice pad Thai. The service was so good, they knew exactly what vegans and gluten free meant and what meals were okay or not. The owner himself even came over multiple times and explained the traditional ways to eat each meal.

Highly recomended 👌💚 - Edit
If you are in ko yao noi, you should really visit this place. The food was really delicious and the staff was very attentive. They were super friendly, knew about veganism and asked us a couple of times if everything was okay. The food was also very beutifully decorated and the location is nice with a sea view. 😊

Best vegan food we had on the island - Edit
The staff understand vegan - if you tell them vegetarian they will ask if egg is okay or not. We tried all the homemade mock meats and the chicken one was our favorite. Although, it was so realistic we had to check the drumstick had a wooden skewer in the middle rather than a bone! Portions are generous. The mango still rice comes with candy floss and mung bean topping which was nice. Tea leaf salad appetizer and fresh fruit are included in the service. Tax is charged extra, so be aware. Nice atmosphere with fairy lights in the evening.

Amazing food - Edit
There is a wide variety of vegetarian or even vegan options. At first I haven’t noticed it but there are some dishes in the menu to which you can choose a protein - it can be meat but it be mock meat as well ex. veg chicken, veg shrimps(!). The food is really good, nicely served and the portions are enormous. The food is quite pricey but worth it. I didn’t like that they don’t include tax in the prices, they just put net prices so you’re not really sure how much you’ll pay. If you want to pay by card then also service fee is added.

We were excited to try this restaurant out after reading many promising reviews and let me tell you, eating here is a lovely experience! The owner is a very welcoming and knowledgeable chef who took his time to recommend us his best vegan dishes and explain the secrets behind each dish.
Read moreAll of our food was made from scratch with fresh ingredients and surprising combinations. We tried the massaman curry which came in a beautiful clay pot, homemade springrolls, ginger stir fried with vegan shrimp, hummus and really good falafel. We absolutely loved each bite and enjoyed the lovely service. If you visit Koh Yao Noi, you cannot miss this place!
Pros: Astonishing vegan dishes, Personally made, no premade or frozen ingredients , Lovely staff and knowledgeable chef
Cons: Do specify and check your dish is vegan in case , the chef isn't there

Amazing food and views - Edit
We absolutely loved this place — the sunset views were truly stunning and the vegan shrimp (made from taro root) was awesome. Some of the best food we’ve had in SE Asia. The staff folks were incredibly warm and kind. Ten out of ten recommend!

You Must Go! - Edit
The food is fantastic, made from scratch, and the view is the best on the island! The owner/chef was present and took our order and knew each dish ingredient. He makes all the mock meats on site. The two we tried were the mock chicken and mock shrimp, both delicious. I highly recommend the sticky rice, as he adds some sort of cotton candied topping. This place is a bit hard to find but there is only a sign on the main road that leads to the destination. Both my husband and I are vegans, and we were absolutely blown away by this meal! Only vegetarian and vegan restaurants can get a 5 star rating, but I'm rating it 5 stars right here!

Amazing view while eating amazing food - Edit
We ate there every evening while staying in ko Yao noi. It is more expensive than the other restaurants on the island but in my opinion is it worth the money. The view is just amazing especially when there are no clouds. The food is really good and they have meat substitutes that really taste similar (only for those who like taste of meat - for me it was to much I really thought I eat meat). You can choose to every meal vegan shrimp, vegan lamb, vegan chicken, or just tofu. Also is the owner of the restaurant really nice, he tells you something about the food and gives recommendations.

The best place ever. - Edit
Recommend a billion times. Do yourself a favour and go here. We went there in May, so wasn’t too busy. The man who served us could speak very good English and fully understood what ‘vegan’ meant (including no fish sauce etc.) They have heaps of vegetarian options, all of which can be made vegan. Three ice cream/sorbet flavours are vegan too. And the traditional Thai desserts (and some western desserts) are also vegan. Get. The. Mango. Sticky. Rice. Their cocktails are also recommended. Even if you aren’t hungry, go here for the view. It sits on top of a mountain and some tables are fully outside, so you can eat your meal looking out on a 360 degree view of the island. Go at sunset. It is easily accessible via motorbike, but you could also walk or get dropped at the bottom of the hill and walk up (it’s not too far) and it will be worth it.

good food, meh service - Edit
Vegan Pad Thai and view was great, but don't expect great service of you're in a small group. We had drinks and dinner, but service is super sparse if you're less than four people. You will be checked very rarely! Luckily the view is really amazing, definitely a neat place to go.

Rice Paddy - Edit
I visited here a few times during my week on Koh Yao Noi, my favourite dish was definitely the Pad Pak Raum (veggie stir fry) and I enjoyed the mushroom based mock lamb. Like in most Thai spots you need to specify that you want no fish sauce / no egg even when you're ordering from the veggie section of the menu but there's a note there to remind you.
