Lots of options. We had the burgers and fruit juice which were really good. Nice to have cheese replacement. It was very busy with people waiting for tables but service was very quick.

We had a short stay in Essaouira but came into this cosy place 3 times. Staff is so lovely and you need to get the vegan brunch which is so delicious.

Excellent mango juice. Tasteless, boring Vegetarian couscous: few big vegetable chunks on top of dry couscous that the sauce apart couldn't rescue.

Retro Corner is the best in Essaouira for healthy foods including many vegan options!!

The staff is WONDERFUL!! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive.
And they have the best Vegetarian burgers. Served with fries and can be made vegan by adding vegan cheese.
The soups are amazing. My husband really enjoys the pumpkin soup and my favorite is the chickpea soup.
We have tried the veggie pastilla and the veggie cigars (like spring rolls). Both are very good. I also like the traditional Moroccan salad.
I also came with friends last week and I enjoyed the Avocado Quinoa salad. Portions are very large!!
Another plus is they offer plant based milks. I really liked my iced latte with oat milk.
Another excellent choice is to stop in for one of their many smoothies. My husband likes the Bamango (banana, mango & orange) and I like the Green Vitamin with cucumber, mint, Apple & avocado.
We visit Essaouira every March. This restaurant is our favorite corner!! We will be back. See you all in March 2025.

Although this restaurant isn’t strictly vegan, there are lots of options, and it’s a great location. We sat at the counter facing the street, so we could people watch. My vegetarian kid, who’s been a great sport about eating vegan Moroccan food during out trip here, was happy to have pizza. I had vegetable soup and zaalouk, which was tasty but could use more spice. We’ll definitely be back to try more.

We went to this place a bunch of times for breakfast during our vacation in Essaouira and it was amazing everytime!
Read moreThe menu consists of both vegan and non vegan food, but there are plenty of vegan options as you can see in the pictures. The waiter was kind and the third time we came in he offered us some free vegan pastry!
It felt like home instantly, that combined with the amazing vegan food makes it one of our favourites.
