I was really excited to try this place out when it opened and the food did not disappoint. I had a taco wrap and a heartbeat smoothie; both were amazing and fresh. It's a much more satisfying feeling to get full off of raw fruits and vegetables over carbs and acidic based foods.
In response to the previous comment, I understand why you might be put off by the cost but buying organic is expensive in general. Things like organic farming practices, fair trade, and various testing methods to ensure products comply with USDA codes factor into the price. Aside from protecting farmers from exploitation, these practices also serve to promote an ecological balance, while also conserving biodiversity.
Just something to think about.

I am happy for another healthy place to eat in downtown Ottawa. I stopped in for lunch and had an amazing meal of raw quesadillas. It was made with cashew cheddar cheese, crumbled nut loaf, salsa, avocado, & romaine lettuce in a red pepper wrap. It was served with kaleslaw.
The food was amazing and the service fast and friendly. The restaurant was gorgeous with a huge outdoor patio.
The only negative was the $16 price. I like to spend $8-$10 for lunch so the price will deter me from becoming a regular. I will definatly return on a warm day for a relaxing meal on the patio though.
