Truly the best gem in Dundee. Rad Apples is the most welcoming and wonderful bar; owned and operated by passionate, community focused people.

Amazing burgers and great vibes! - Edit
Easily the best vegan burger I've ever had, every time I go with meat-eater friends and family they're always so impressed! Great menu with plenty of choice, lovely for coffee and cakes in the daytime or for drinks in the evening. Also, they do their chips with the potato skins on which is obviously the best way to make chips. They staff are awesome, all very cool and creative, and always make you feel so welcome! Defo my favourite vegan hangout in Dundee!

Great seitan burgers and unashamed vegan punk ethos - Edit
We visit this place pretty often for lunch, we have a young kid so haven't yet been there at night. My kid loves the chips and we are happy with the burgers and beer selection. They do a decent oat latte as well. The staff are always friendly and welcoming even though we are maybe not the target audience. The tables and toilets are always clean.

Best vegan punk rock pub ever - Edit
Rad Apples Dundee is back! This is one of my favourite places on Earth. The pub has a 100% vegan menu, including drinks. You can get beers and ciders from local breweries such as 71 Brewing (Dundee), Fierce Beer (Aberdeen), spirits and soft drinks.
Read moreAll of their beef and chicken-style seitan patties are made in-house by their rad chefs by hand from scratch and served on a brioche-style vegan bun with chips. They're now making "hot dawgs" too and have several options. The food is delicious and inexpensive.
The environment at the pub is excellent. You'll be listening to music from independent and local bands which you can also see playing live in the pub's basement (Conroy's) on any given weekend. The staff are the friendliest bunch ever. Ask any of them about music recommendations if you want to learn of new bands, and maybe buy a few records in the Make That A Take pop up store.
They work with the Good night out campaign, to ensure they have a safe and welcoming environment.
Pros: Great music and culture, Staff are the nicest people ever, Food is amazing and inexpensive

Recently visited this cafe on consecutive days on a trip to Dundee. The food was the best I’ve had, so good I returned the following day. Only takeaway available due to Covid but staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing burgers and the mac sub is definitely worth trying!!

Great vegan bar with local indie music - Edit
Friendly vegan bar with great indie music from local record label. The seitan burger was excellent quality served with homemade fries. Also good ramen soup if you’re going for the healthy option. The peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake is a must- see photo!

Great Place - Edit
Love it here. Visited for the first time early evening on Saturday 28 Dec. As you walk in there are booths to sit in and to the right a section with records for sale. If you walk further in towards the back there’s a lovely area of tables and chairs for a dining experience. The menu looks great, I need to visit Dundee again to try more of the food.
