Disappointing - Edit
After two weeks in Scotland this is the first time a meal has disappointed me. I had the vegan loaded fries. The fries were more like American fries, not the amazing usual scottish chips, the flavors of the toppings did not feel like they go together and the dish feels like an afterthought. The onion rings were very greasy. It's also expensive for what it is.

Disappointed in the range of vegan options, essentially chilli 3 ways (Quesadilla, taco or loaded fries) or the standard vegan option of a burger. Chilli loaded fries were alright, no alternative to the sour cream which was available for veggies. I also ordered the frickles (fried pickles) as these were marked vegan on the menu. Supposed to come with a blue cheese dip, which I was informed was not vegan so they perhaps need to change their menu to mark as veggie with vegan option. Given vegan mayo as an alternative despite asking for Guacamole, I assume also not suitable for vegans?

The restaurant is very pretty and feels expensive, which it kind of is for what you get.
Read moreI had the Bao Buns which were alright, but didn't have much filling so definitely not worth the price. They do have a few vegan options though and have them all marked as such on the menu
