Incredible Vegan Falafel Pitas

The owner serves up large portion vegan falafel with all the sauce and toppings. They taste amazing, are cheap, and fulfill your appetite.

If you get there around 7-8, it's primetime and you'll be waiting since she's only one person, but it's worth the wait!

Pros: Large portions, Delicious, Cheap

Cons: Sometimes large lines

100 baht for a delicious falafel (dec 2018)

Very fresh ingredients, great sauce and a big enough portion! Wouldn’t mind having this for dinner every night. A sunday at 19 pm with a full night market it was a long queue, waited around 30 mins, so would recommend going earlier or later!

Pros: Delicious, fresh, filling

Cons: Long queue :-)

Disappointing

We spent a month in pai at the beginning of the year and were obsessed with this falafel stall. It was without a doubt the best falafel pitta my partner and I had ever had. After returning the other night we were so disappointed. There seems to be a new girl making them. It was sloppy, wet, tasteless and there were hardly any falafels in the pitta. Such a shame!

Cons: Sloppy , Hardly any falafels in the pitta , Over priced

Fresh & delicious

Probably the best falafel my partner and I have had. The Pita is packed full of fresh veggies and lots of falafel. We hadn't eaten much in a few days and my boyfriend went back for seconds before we left. She even has stools to sit on when you wait/to eat. These can be messy so sitting while eating is recommended.

Pros: Fresh & filling, made fresh

Cons: 150 baht for 1 thing , takes some time to make

Amazing!!

Best falafel we've EVER tasted!! Made fresh as we ordered, and full to the brim with healthy and tasty veg and sauces. 120BHT may seem steep for street food, but it's worth the treat!

Pros: All VEGAN

Cons: Price

Delicious

Big portion. Me and my boyfriend shared and got the falafel salad bowl instead of the pita. It was fab. It’s all fresh ingredients and made in front of you.

A work of art

This woman is located on the walking street and for about 140 baht (well worth the money) she makes the most incredible falafel in pita. She is an artist.

She learnt from her boyfriend who had Israeli parents so it is incredibly authentic.

She doesn't just dump everythnig in, she actually layers it, so a couple of falafel then some grated carrots, more falafel, then cabbage, more falafel, etc. The pitta is stuffed by the end. Literally bursting over.

Her homemade hummus and tahini is incredible. I cannot praise this place enough.

food cart serving vegan falafels

the Queen Falafel Food Cart is in Walking Street and serves delicious pita bread falafel salads ... the large pita bread comes overflowing with falafels, salad vegies and sauces ( ฿120) ... great tasting and very filling ... it can get very busy but the small wait is worth it ... very friendly vegan staff with basic English

amazing

Lovely girl runs the stall. It was honestly the best falafel I’ve ever tried! She makes sure the ingredients are well mixed in the pitta so every bite has a bit of everything. 120 baht which is on the steeper end of things here but still so cheap. Seriously go here 😍

delicious and fresh!

I got a salad plate without pita, which had cabbage, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, carrot and 10 falafel balls (but smaller than a ping pong ball), topped with hummus and vegan tahini!! Delicious and fried right in front of me!

Cute little stand

Great falafel with lots of veggies and hummus.
Possible to order just a plate without pita.

If you are on the Night Market of Pai also look for the other vegan friendly stands close to the falafel stand (vegan wraps, dateballs, salads)

Best falafel ever!

Small food cart in the night market. The pita was packed with stacks of falafel and salad and was easily the best falafel pita I've ever eaten. Highly recommend.

MUST GO

This is THE BEST falafel pita I have ever eaten! You get a giant falafel filled with fresh goods. When I walked on the street with it several people came up to me asking where I got it. It's absolutely amazing.

Fala-filled my heart with joy

Although the 120 THB price tag may seem steep for Thailand, this is an absolute steal. Each wrap is crafted with so much love - about a dozen falafel balls fill each wrap, which is also packed with a perfect combo of veggies and tahini sauce all wrapped in a warm, soft pita. It'll fill your stomach yet somehow leave you wanting more.

Pros: Some of the best falafel you'll ever have , Affordable

Cons: None
