One of the best vegan curry on the street

I ordered the Panang curry, and every element was cooked perfectly-the balance of saltiness and richness was just right. I was able to watch the cooking process, and I noticed that no sugar was added, making this a healthy curry choice.

Instead of plain white rice, they serve it with black rice, which is another plus for anyone who cares about healthy eating.

This is definitely not your typical greasy or junky street food-it’s something you could happily eat every day. The staff were friendly and even allowed me to film the cooking process.

I truly hope his business continues to succeed!

Street food with seating

The vegan restaurant we were headed to, Kwan’s Table, was closed at the time, so we ended up eating at this stall just opposite. It’s unfortunately not entirely vegan but they do have three options—khao soi and two curries. There were three of us, so we tried one of each dish. The food was decent and cheap, although a little bland for my taste. Out of the three, the khao soi was probably best, followed by the massaman curry as I liked the tender potatoes.

The seating area is a nice bonus, as most stalls on the walking street necessitate just that—you gotta keep walking! A lot of the night market food is also more snacky, so this is a good option if you fancy more of a proper meal.

Pros: Cheap 💸, Seating area 🪑

Cons: Serves chicken and egg 🐔, A bit bland 🥱

Excellent vegan options

Probably some of the best Thai food I've had. The vegan Khao Soi is superb, as is the vegan Penang curry.

The vegan Massamam curry is good but not as tasty as the others.

Each dish is around 60/70 baht.

Very friendly owner.
