Changed Owner? - Edit
We went there today, and they said the owner changed and now they don't have vegetarian food anymore. Is it true? We called before to reserve a table and they didn't say anything about no vegetarian food. Is the location on Happy Cow's map correct?

Nice food, large menu - Edit
we found the place, but at first we thought it’s a bakery. But we asked and then entered the place.
Read moreThe menu has many, many options maybe too many, so it was hard to make a decision.
There are many dishes on the menu called “beef”, “chicken”, etc., but it’s all mock meat.
I had beef chili noodles and sautéed pakchoi with shiitake. Both were quite good.
My wife had a fishsoup which she enjoyed and a tomato onion salad which came with lots of garlic but no dressing.
Overall: big selection, good food, but not exceptional. Prices are moderate

We didn't enjoy the food - Edit
We tried noodles with stir-fry veggies, chilli tofu with steamed rice and spring rolls. It was really weird tasting and also kinda plain.. It was just not that kind of food where we fight for the last spring roll simpy because having one was enough... We tried just once - the food on the tables of other people looked maybe better than ours... Eatable but not really enjoyable...

Central location, fair prices - Edit
Had a very tasty stewed tofu, lemongrass and chilli (came with rice) and stir fried noodles and veg. Would recommend the tofu. Prices are about 40,000 for a dish, which is enough for anyone with a medium appetite, order more if starving though! Staff very friendly too. I'd happily return 😊

Good Food, but... - Edit
...the Staff isn't. Not really friendly, and took plates away we had not finished yet. kind of strange. Small dishes. There are better vegeterian restaurants in Nha Trang.

Very tasty food - Edit
The dishes are not that big but very, very tasty. We came there for 3 days in a row and it was wonderfull. One dish is between 30k and 50k and you have to take more than one when you are hungry. We loved the tomatosoup and 'chicken'- and 'beef' stew. A lot of people come to eat there but that isn't a surprise.

Small Portions, Rude Staff- But still yummy - Edit
A bit confused at first because they call the place Letimo not May Quan Chay. However, the food was good and flavourful but small portions. I ordered 2 meals just for myself! I also wanted to know if any of the cakes/desserts were vegan but, the staff did not speak English and were a bit rude. We sat and waved our hands when ready to order, but they sat on their phones for another 2 minutes after seeing us to finish whatever they were typing or looking at on the phone. I was frustrated because they ignored your English and could not answer questions but had you point at everything that you wanted so they could read in Vietnamese. I may be being dramatic by being annoyed by this considering I am in Vietnam. However I had higher expectations.

Good, solid option - Edit
Had a really nice meal here. The menu is extensive and the setting is peaceful. Decent prices given that it's a restaurant with a nice interior etc. It was possible to get non-fried dishes and they had a large range of salads, too. We had a yummy mushroom dish - cooked in a claypot with lemongrass and chilli, and also tofu braised with ginger and coconut. It was nice to be able to get steamed as opposed to fried veggies, too. Tasty food and a nice experience all round. Would return.

Wonderfull restaurant. - Edit
Have been eating here for a half year. The stuff is very friendly, but with very limited English knowledge. It's always better to point dish/drink in menu then try to say something. Food is fresh and tasty. Recommend.

Close to the Beach - Edit
A little pricey by 'com chay' standards, the best thing about May Chay is that they're central, open till late and serve alcohol (very unusual for a Buddhist eatery!). The dishes are a little hit and miss - we found their mango salad superb and 'fish curry' pretty good, while some of the other items little more than an overpriced garnish on a platter. Worth checking out if you like 'finer dining' options and beer with a (late) dinner.

Huge selection - Edit
Cozy restaurant but very high quality atmosphere with high standards of plate presentation. Probably the biggest selection of dishes in town with close to 200 menu items, all vegetarian, some vegan. It would have been a 5 star review if any one of the 4 staff members on duty when I went understood a little English since they are in a high traffic tourist area. I asked for water clearly twice to go with my spicy food and I never got it because they didn't understand. Still, this might be my new favourite restaurant.

I was there 26-27 Dec but I couldn't find it at the address given (despite staying so close by). Did you find it at this address?

The place is still there, not so obvious though. They sell croissants and bread, you'll see it from the street. And there is a purple sign saying 'vegetarian restaurant'.
