Excellent Find

This spot is just through the alleyway off the main shopping street (High st) and close to the public restrooms.

Lots of great choices! It was hard to choose as everything looked great and was reasonably priced.

Friendly staff. Lots of seating - indoor and outdoor options.

Pros: Helpful staff, Display case of foods

Beautiful breakfast!

The most amazing, hearty vegan breakfast I've ever had! It was massive, and set me up for a day roaming around Glastonbury.

Pros: Huge portion , Well cooked and presented , Loads of choice

Cons: Not open until 10am.

Lovely dog friendly vegan cafe after a long walk up Glastonbury Tor. Tried the vegan kebab which was delicious and southern fried chicken & fries. Everything delicious and super friendly staff. Lovely selection of cakes. Took away a blackberry cheesecake, was delicious.

Must Do for Vegans

We visited in April 2024, and had an excellent experience! Everything is vegan & the menu is huge. We had a bowl (which for my whole-foods-loving nature was just perfect), loaded fries, and the kabob wrap—all delicious. The marinated tofu on the fries and in the wrap was something I wish I could create myself. We’d like to have tried everything on the menu! The staff was friendly. There’s seating on the inside and outside. It’s a great spot for plant eaters!!!

Pros: All vegan huge menu, Lovely staff, Seating inside and outside

So many options! And dog-friendly!

The menu, baked goods and cake selection were impressive. Nothing fancy - I'd call this home-cooked-type food but yummy. It's down a little alleyway with a nice bit of character to it. I was very pleased it was dog-friendly as well.

Note there are no toilets for customers though there are in a carpark around the corner.

Wide selection of options!

Visited March ‘24. Lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of savoury and sweet treats at the counter and more meals on the menu. We opted for a breakfast roll (£3.50) containing vg bacon, sausage and egg, a curried veg pasty (£5) and a zillionaire’s slice (about £3.50). All of these were full of flavour and very filling.

Stunning food

Second time visiting here and impressed yet again. Very friendly staff. Very tasty good. Generous portion sizes. This time I had the vish and chips and enjoyed every bite of it!

Edit: went back again whilst in the area. Had the kebab which was really tasty and the biscoff turnover which was STUNNING wish I’d got two!

Vish and chips!

There was so much choice here but we only tried the Vish and chips. Super convincing and very filling. They had lots of pasties and cakes as well as other hot dishes. Plenty of reasons to go back for more. Service was friendly and quick too 😊

Superb, best vegan food in Glastonbury

Up a little side alley off the High Street, this great little cafe serves breakfast, lunch, pudding and good coffee!

So good, I went twice in two days to have that breakfast burrito! Also stopped off on the way home to pick up a Snickers slice and Curry veg pasty, both also excellent!

I won't hesitate to go there the next time I'm in Glastonbury.

Pros: Food, Staff, Coffee

Cons: Nothing

Delicious coffee!

Found this place by accident down a little laneway next to the out of Africa shop. The coffee was the so good! We also had a snickers slice and a lime cheesecake (made with avocado) both were delicious. They had loads of pastries sweet and savoury.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great coffee , Great tasting food

Insaneeee

Couldn’t stay for their menu as we were in a rush but it looked incredible! We opted for a quick takeout and got the Bombay potato pastie, a scotch ‘egg’ and the pizza roll. All insane and we’re already planning to go back tomorrow 🌱❤️

A hankering

Having a specific hankering for deep-fried, salty food led one to ordering the Vish and Chips from the menu.

Believe the hype (or should that be hVpe?).

If the conditions and expectations align, go for it.

Disclaimer: Those seeking a whole food nutritionally dense superfood may want to choose a different dish.

Pros: Fully vegan

Not bad. Food is okay. Easy option if you’re in the area. Quite pricey

Pros: Availability, Options

Cons: Pricey

MattSparrey

Hi Bradley, sorry that you found our food quite pricey, we are now VAT registered & have to pay the Gov 20% of all our sales, which is difficult for small catering sole trader business as we do not spend much on VAT so we are unable to claim back hardley any to off set the amount, which means we put our prices up or go out of business.
We also make pretty much everything by hand ourselves which can be very time consuming.
Thank you for visiting.

Friendly cafe and good food

On our recent trip to Glastonbury we found this delightful little cafe tuck away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. We had the veganoumi wrap and the vish and chips. The wrap was so delicious and the vegan halloumi was one of the nicest vegan ‘cheeses’ I have ever had. My husband had the vish and chips which he said tasted like fish with good texture and excellent crispy batter.
Lovely atmosphere which was nice and relaxing.
Also staff were so friendly.

Pros: All vegan cafe

Lovely vegan brunch in Glastonbury

Wonderfully friendly welcome and staff knowledgeable and helpful . Good value for money and very generous portions.

I had a vegan big breakfast - first time of eating a brekkie/brunch out since becoming vegan (five years ago) and this certainly did not disappoint -my husband had vegan pasty and chips which he reports was delicious.

Would highly recommend and will certainly return when we are next in the area

Pros: Happy knowledge staff, Delicious food with wide variety of options , Fast efficient service

Genuinely delicious food

It’s only thanks to Happy Cow users that we got to sample this amazing food. We’d visited the same premises the last time we were in Glastonbury and been very unimpressed - little did we know it had changed hands and become something very special.

You can tell these guys started out at festivals: almost everything on the menu comes in a wrap. That’s not a bad thing, though. They know what they do and they do it very well.

We had a breakfast burrito and a kebab and both were off the charts in terms of flavour. Literally couldn’t fault anything about them.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The inside space was comfortable and well presented. Everything was spotlessly clean. The outside space looked nice but the weather wasn’t great on the day we visited so we only saw that from the window.

I’ve been thinking back to that wrap on the days since we visited. If we didn’t live three hours from Glastonbury I’d be a regular. We still might!

Pros: Amazing food , Friendly staff , A nice space

Like a badger on a peanut butter high…

When the sparrow eased out his first little fart of the morning, I was already bounding like a badger on a crunchy peanut butter high up Glastonbury Tor.
Skip forward a few hours of general loitering and the Pyramid café was open for business. In moments, a vibrantly coloured plate of delight was kindly laid in front of me. The big v breakfast didn’t stand a chance, with every mouthful being savoured in fast forward. I’m just hoping that I have just a little bit of space left for another morsel of something extraordinary! But for now I’m happy with my beans and knowing that tomorrow, my little feathery friend, you will have competition…
