Nice Pizza

Purezza does nice pizza, although not outstanding. We also had the dough balls, which seemed to have an odd taste. I would come back, but not for the dough balls!

Pros: Nice atmosphere , Huge pizzas

Dreadful management spoils great pizza

Purezza make a variety of excellent vegan pizzas. Definitely some of the best you'll ever have. There's a big range too, and they're all delicious so you're bound to find something you love.
Unfortunately, the Bristol branch desperately needs more staff. I've been there twice over the last few months and both times there was a single waiter/waitress working every table, on a weekend! The result is that service is slow and attentiveness minimal. This is no fault of the staff. They are friendly, but human, and there's only so much work a human can do.
My most recent visit was for a celebration, and when we wanted the bill we couldn't see the waitress - eventually spotted her ducked behind a counter hurriedly eating a pot noodle. It's sad and utterly outrageous that she felt the need to do this because there was nobody else available to cover for her to have a break.
Purezza needs to get its act together and sort the management issues, because these experiences have left me not wanting to go back even with the food as good as it is.

Disappointing experience

Purezza is a great concept but it is not well executed at the Bristol branch. Staff don’t want to be there, pizzas are sloppy and the atmosphere is weird. Bad experiences every time in this store and delivery, which is a shame because the world needs more vegan pizza

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Bad atmosphere , Poorly executed

Shocking

Travelled along way to have pizza. Even walked a long way from the train station. Closed. No one has updated the opening hours. Disgusting. Expect more from vegans.

scrummy pizza!

these pizza’s never disappoint, the restaurant itself is lovely and cosy and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. there are so many options and they have some alcohol on tap too (lager, IPA, cider) which is always a nice treat.
the pizzas are quite big and filling as they’re a thick dough, but i love cold pizza for breakfast so it was perfect really!! the mac and cheese i didn’t like so much, it was a bit thin and not too cheesy so that was a little disappointing. the dessert however was incredible, we had cheesecake to top off the night and it was fab!
always worth a visit if you’re in bristol😄

Pros: everything is vegan , friendly staff, big portions

The best pizza ever!

We love Purezza. Bristol is the closest branch to us, so whenever we're in Bristol and in the mood for pizza, we go to Purezza.
I love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly but not overbearing, the food is divine. Their cheezy bread balls alone are worth a visit! They also have offers on all the time, £5 pizzas before 5 o'clock which are a perfect size for one person, we have not tried any of their desserts yet because we never have any room left for dessert when we're done!

Unique and Tasty All Vegan Pizzas!

After wanting to try Purezza for so long, it didn’t disappoint. I love the huge variety of unique pizza toppings that they have on offer. Everything seemed really fresh and good quality. It is all quite pricey but definitely worth it. I tried The One With The Pesto, The One With The Truffle and The One With Nduja; they were all tasty in their own way. As much as I liked all of the pizzas I tried; I found them all to be very heavy and overpowering. There was lots of toppings on each pizza which is great but I couldn’t eat a whole pizza to myself because they were so stodgy. The dough itself I enjoyed because I love a thick crust and dough; but I just found the toppings were too much. My favourite was probably the Nduja pizza because it was spicy and not so heavy and the vegan sausage was great. The cheese on the pizzas was nice but they use a lot of it so I found that too much at times. I found all of the pizzas to be really oily and greasy! The other options such as starters and desserts looked delicious too! I love that there’s a popular vegan pizza restaurant out there that isn’t really generic but I don’t think I’d rush back because I personally found the pizzas to be too heavy. The actual restaurant is really nice inside though and the staff were really friendly. So overall, I would recommend!

Unmissable pizza spot

Totally chill location with some insanely creative pizza options as well as super friendly staff. My only warning is that the pizzas themselves are deceptively filling - don’t be fooled!

Good

Lovely cafe style pizza place, delighted to see well behaved dogs were welcome. Staff were really attentive and friendly, a little expensive for the portion size and I found the mushroom pizza a bit stodgy. Overall a lovely place, nice food but I picked unwisely

Pros: Everything is vegan, Fantastic atmosphere , Dog friendly

Cons: Expensive for portion size, Gluten free option pizza base quite expensive

Good food, good service.

The food from here is amazing, I got the dough balls and bbq pizza. Server was more than happy to answer any questions I had, and lovely atmosphere. We had a little wait for food but was well noted by the server due to a new chef, well he did a great job!
Only comment would be; pricey but nicey.

Pros: 100% vegan, Good atmosphere , Amazing food

Cons: Pricey

Such a great place

We went to Purezza on a day trip to Bristol. Well worth the stop. Love the fact that the whole menu is vegan. Spoilt for choice. The wholemeal sourdough crust is fantastic. The homemade cheese is good. Small kids have a free mini pizza and some colouring. The place is very cute and you can see your pizza being made in front of you. I recommend the cheesecake. Small but do good.

Pros: All vegan , Wholemeal sourdough crust, Kids friendly

Fairly big portions so be hungry!

Met some family members for a bit of a celebration. This was my first time eating in. Attentive and prompt service for a Friday night. Pizzas come in one size ... big. Well big for me. Next time I will try out the lasagne which may leave some room for one of the desserts!

Pros: Good attentive service, Sound food and drink

Cons: Big portions but you can ask for a take-home box!

Yummy pizza!

Not a fan of vegan cheese so was a bit nervous but this was delicious. Even my omni partner has asked if we can go back! Tried the banana No colada mocktail and that was lovely too. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Fully vegan, Nice vegan cheese!, Lovely mocktail

Cons: None

Brilliant pizza, Vegan style!

We couldn’t wait to try Purezza and it did not disappoint. We had 2 great sourdough pizzas, one whole meal and one hemp based. Both looked and tasted amazing and I wish we had one on our doorstep. We were in Bristol for the weekend and despite having just finished a family dinner only a few hours before we still managed to wolf down a pizza each, the dough was spot on with big air filled cornicione and thin crust. We had the one with the nduja and the pepperoni one.

The restaurant is great with the pizzas made in full view in a classic fire pizza oven as it should be done. The staff were on point, explaining to everyone that the menu was plant based as they entered, served quickly and efficiently and always friendly and there to assist without being in your face.

If you love pizza regardless if you are vegan or not and are in Bristol get to Purezza and try their pizzas, you will not be disappointed.

PS. They have a branches in Brighton, Hove, Bristol, Camden and Manchester.

So good, forgot to take picture 10/10

Food was astronomical especially in comparison to our normal American vegan dishes and pizza. Feel like you can’t go wrong. The carbonara 10/10, the meatball 10/10, the dough balls 2000/10, and the chocolate pizza 10/10

Pros: Food is all vegan and so delicious, Staff is very kind , Nice atmosphere to sit and eat

Disappointing

Ordered the chocolate pizza to take out, after travelling down for the day and sampling as many vegan places as possible!

For £7 we expected a standard small-medium pizza but it was less than half the size of the small box it was in! It was the size of a sharing bar of chocolate… tiny!

The place itself looked really nice to sit in but I’m glad we didn’t get our whole meal there based on this experience, we’d have been starving!
