Vegetarian cafe with fab vegan breakfast option - Edit
We had a vegan breakfast, consisting of 2 smokey vegan sausages, Tomatos, mushrooms, toast and beans. Prices good and the girls serving were lovely. There were also vegan cakes available, plant milks and spread.
Read morePros: Vegan cakes, the sausages
Cons: I would of like hash browns as an option.

Very tasty food and great service - Edit
We are staying in the area visiting relatives and found Pulse Cafe after exploring the area, we had the Veg Curry and Rissotto and both dishes had great taste and good sized portions. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and will definitely visit again before we return to the Philippines.

Really disappointed - Edit
Made a reasonable trip to Pulse Cafe with my family and really wish we hadn’t. The food was mediocre, service was lovely, but the place just isn’t cut out for vegans (which seems odd, given other reviews). Pulse really hasn’t kept up with the times. Not even offering vegan cheese alternatives where cheese is stated on the menu. Most local pubs/restaurants have vegan cheese in these days, let alone a vegetarian restaurant who claims to cater well for vegans.
Read moreDefinitely wouldn’t return, but if you’re nearby, by all means give it a try, maybe you’ll enjoy it. I’d definitely take my business elsewhere though until the owner wakes up and realises its 2019 and the world has moved on
Pros: Some vegan options
Cons: Caters poorly for vegans , Limited options , Mediocre food

A delightful place with brilliant vegan options; I've got a brownie and a flapjack for later 😍

Pros: LOADS of vegan options and vegan cake, Very generous owner

lovely little cafe with lots of vegan options - Edit
I have been to pulse many times and have always been impressed with the variety and standard of vegan food. All coffees can be ordered with soya milk and there are lots of menu items and cakes that are vegan to be enjoyed. The staff are lovely and the local art gives the place a lovely atmosphere. There is also a lot of gluten free options even with the cake. Definitely go here if you are nearby

Friendly - Edit
This place has the feel of a community cafe/juice bar. It has an appeal to a very wide range of customers from the young mums and toddlers to the artistic community and, like myself, walkers.

Lovely little Veggie Cafe. - Edit
Surprised to find a vegetarian cafe hidden away in New Mills. A friend I was visiting took me here for a lovely lunch. Small but light and airy inside. Not many vegan options on the menu for grown ups ( I think 3 of the kids options were) but they were happy to change items as the sandwiches are made fresh in front of you. My sandwich was delicious and best of all there was Swedish glace ice cream for pudding.

Nice cakes and friendly staff - Edit
Been here a few times for cake and a brew. The chocolate brownie and coconut cake were vegan on my last visit, and they have soya milk. I found the mains uninspiring and a bit bland.

Pleasant little cafe, nothing earth-shattering! - Edit
Nice modern environment with clean seating area, quite friendly service, staff able to explain which things were vegan (as not marked on the menu board).
Read moreFood was ok but not exciting. Pasta salad didn't have any beans or tofu and not much flavour in the dressing, leek and potato soup with bread was ok and they had vegan marg for the bread, coconut cake was quite nice and moist.
Pros: Some vegan options, Seats to eat in, OK.
Cons: All a bit dull and bland really.
