Good pastry and vegan quick bites

If you're in a hurry and need a bite has some good vegan options light and healthy. The pastry is good as well.

Pros: Good variety of vegan options

Cons: Sells meat and dairy

Always handy

Literally opposite the theatre I was working in and so handy as I didn't have long to grab & go.

Good vegan options althoug this store is busy and lots of things had sold out already, however they conintue to make fresh and refill the store throughout the day.

I went for the hummus chipolte wrap with sweetcorn and beans. Nice flaour and lots of crunchy veg inside too, they also sell fresh fruit so had a banana.

Day 2 I took the avo baguette with olive tapenade and sun dried toms which is one of my favs. I laos really love there miso soup, but had no time to indulge.

Limited vegan options

Still so much stuff with dairy in it… disappointing. And even here, not a single hot vegan breakfast option. Vegans can eat cold in their view I guess.

Pret A Manger

Pret A Manger is everywhere in London, so never fear because vegan options are always nearby. That said, it seems I've been to quite a few locations given their convenience while in a pinch.

Pret is not a place I go out of my way for, as I feel the food is usually bland. Nevertheless, I do eat at this chain and I usually order the Avo and Tom vegan sandwich, which is served on a baguette (instead of boring sliced bread) and filled with olive pate, avocado, and tomatoes. The olive pate really does this sandwich justice since it adds flavor compared to their other vegan options. My partner likes the vegan meatball wrap, which he claims is the best option offered at Pret. The raspberry vegan croissant is very good, but quite sweet, which makes it tough for me to eat (I wish they had a plain one). They also offer plant milk drinks, should you wish to have a coffee or tea latte.
