Healthy, Gluten-free and great variety - Edit
Portia's is a staple in Columbus. She owns multiple vegan businesses, including Portia's Cozy, Portia's cafe, a food truck, and a vegan store. Yes, she is known for her stance on vaccines and covid, but despite your beliefs and even if you disagree, she is a very nice person. She is always willing to help everyone and just wants people to eat vegan food. The majority of the produce used in her cafe is locally grown, and everything is organic. She has great wraps, salads, pizzas, and desserts. She also has a great breakfast served all day. The gluten-free waffles are a must try! Portia's is definitely pricey, but everything is organic and great quality.

So many options - Edit
Love that this restaurant has such an extensive vegan gluten free menu. Not my favorite vegan food, but still pretty good #Veganuary
Read moreSecond time trying this restaurant with a gluten free friend and what I got today was so good! I think picking the more healthy option is the key - got a great tofu wrap with a lot of fresh veggies and greens and sprouts, and it was delicious. Also the homemade seasonal soup 😍

Love this little cafe! - Edit
I love me a good vegan restaurant! I always have such a hard time choosing what to eat. I had the super Cindy breakfast wrap and got some other things to go! We tried the breakfast wrap, savory wrap and spinach and artichoke dip (which was my fav!). Everything was so good. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Great ingredients - Edit
The food is always good, just not as exciting as other vegan options in town. The best part about Portia’s is the clean ingredients. You know you’re not getting overly processed food and you’re gonna feel good when you leave.

Wonderful breakfast, sweet staff - Edit
I enjoyed brunch there on a recent Sunday when I was in town for a wedding. The place has a sweet, homemade vibe, cool art, a bookshelf - that kind of funky place. I had the breakfast burrito bowl and it was a knockout - from the scratch-made beans ( I verified with the server that the chef made them in house and not from a can) to the savory bits and creamy topping - just so fresh and delicious. Ours server was very sweet and just elevated the experience.

Tasty heathy food, but expensive - Edit
I had a very tasty felafel wrap and my brother had a tofu wrap which was also good, and we split a hummus appetizer which was okay, the tortilla they used for chips was gluten free so it was a little odd. All food is vegan and gluten free so if you can’t have gluten this is a nice option. Our tab came up to over $55 before tip so keep that in mind.

Amazing, as always 💚 - Edit
Haven’t been here in a couple of years and was so happy to get back to Columbus and Portia’s. Ordered online to take to the hotel and everything was perfect, including the special requests. It’s rare my 16-year-old vegan daughter raves about food so healthy, but she was begging me to get back in the car for more 30 minutes after we finished eating. Lol

Anti-vax, QAnon owner - Edit
The food is overpriced and bland and to make matters worse, the owner posts anti-vax, Republican rhetoric online which is harmful and deadly, and definitely not vegan

I was able to overlook the anti-vax message, pre-covid. But the anti-mask message was just too much. I won't patronize a business that puts its staff and customers in jeopardy.

Great food & quick service - Edit
I stopped here on my drive from Indy to Cleveland and I am so happy I decided to try it out! I got a blt wrap and a piece of cheesecake to go. My items were ready super quick which was really nice. The wrap was bigger than I expected and was so good! The cheesecake was also delicious but it wasn’t as solid/thick as I like cheesecake to be. I look forward to trying more things on their menu!

Great Lunch & Dessert - Edit
Have heard many great things about Portia's Cafe so finally was able to make it there for lunch with a non-vegan friend. After asking our friendly server what was good, we agreed to try the Power Wrap. It was quickly served and was excellent! A very nice size wrap and very tasty. Based on the recommendation of my friend, we had the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was great. Very smooth with lots of chocolate decadence! Look forward to bringing my wife back to try more items on the menu!

Good spot - Edit
This one feels (and probably is) one of those vegan restaurants that open up first to the public, fighting pre conceived notions and thriving on a sea of carnivores. Come and check them out if you can.

Swag Little Joint - Edit
Me and a friend stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed at all! This place has a warm, comfortable atmosphere, a nice staff and rad food!! I ordered a burrito bowl and some mint chocolate cheesecake and both were very good and filling! (They also had a ton of other food items and products they were selling in store, I thought that was neat.) Can't recommend this place enough! Very cute little joint!

Healthy Vegan Food and Vegan Comfort Food Both Served - Edit
Portia's Cafe is the original all vegan and gluten free restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. If you want to eat healthy they have some amazing salads, smoothies, and whole food, plant-based fare. They also have some amazing rich vegan food with the best vegan n'egg salad I have ever had which you can get in a wrap or on the side. They also have an amazing breakfast item called the Super Cindy Pocket - vegan bacon, hash browns, cheese, tofu egg, tomato, and spinach all wrapped in a gluten free pocket and lightly toasted in the panini press - it is amazing! The staff are helpful and friendly and the space is clean, bright, and uplifting.

Love Portia's - Edit
I was living in Oregon when I became vegan in 2013 and probably visited Portia's every time I visited my family since then. Lived in Ohio a few months last year and dropped way too much money on the cheeze cakes. Very good stuff. People here are very friendly, as well.

Huge menu for a vegan place - Edit
My family stopped here for desert on our way through town. This place has the largest menu of any vegan place I have ever been. We had the chocolate mouse, citrus parfait, clean green smoothie, blondie and chocolate macaroons, and apple crisp a la mode. We loved all of the food.
Read moreWe stopped here again for lunch a year later. We had the Green Bean Curry over Rice, Curry soup, and Grilled Tofu Gyro. It was all great.
This is a restaurant that makes the food in a healthy way. It is all very tasty if you are into that, but if you come here expecting fried comfort foods you might be disappointed.
The servers were nice and provided good service both times.
Pros: Huge menu, Delicious
