Enjoyable late lunch

We arrived late afternoon and enjoyed a sandwich each, my wife loved her falafel wrap, I had a little food envy but still enjoyed my avocado wrap. The cupcakes were great, again, I lucked out but was kindly given a taste of the cinnamon cupcake. The cinnamon swirls in the cake itself was very good!

Treat yourself to a hot chocolate with all the trimmings! I had no idea that you could get a vegan whipped cream from a can.

The chap who runs the place is very friendly and happy to chat about his favourite books too! We'll go back if we're in the area again for a holiday.

Pros: price, quality, taste

Delightful coffee shop with great food

This is a lovely cafe and the staff are lovely. Always very friendly and helpful. The cakes are always amazing and not had one I've not enjoyed yet. They can cater for allergies no problem.
My husband and I pop in around 2-3 times a year when we visit Exmouth and have always enjoyed the food and drinks that are served.

Pros: shop section that sell many items not available in, Very clean and tidy with friendly staff. , Dog friendly and even sell vegan dog food.

Cons: Can be busy at times and as it's small may have to

Gorgeous Vegan Food

Was very excited, as a Vegan, to find this little cafe tucked a little way up a street called High Street in Exmouth, Devon.

The food was absolutely gorgeous and well priced too. I had the chickpea burger with side salad at under £6 and a lovely chocolate cupcake at just under £2!

The staff were lovely too as was the atmosphere. They also have a small wholefood and vegan convenience food shop. And a few vegan related books for sale!

Will definitely visit again when I'm on holiday in Devon again! Only wish we had one where I live!!

Pros: All Food Is Vegan with Gluten Free Options

Cons: No Wheelchair Access so couldn't bring my mum.

Friendly and Relaxing Vegan Cafe

Much needed in Exmouth and a welcome addition. I have lunched there on a few occasions and the food has been tasty and well prepared. The coffee has improved since the installation of a proper coffee machine and tea cakes make a welcome break time snack. They also have some interesting food items for sale.

Average

I was glad there was something vegan going on in this strange town but unfortunately, I have to say the food was average and overpriced for what you got. Nice looking place and the shop had some good bits but food could do better. (sorry)

Pros: Nice environment, good shop

Cons: small portion, pricey, food average

Friendly and Good range of food & drink

I had a late lunch and went back again a few hours later for coffee and cake at this lovely little cafe and shop. The staff were really friendly (but not over-powering) and I was impressed by the range of hot and cold food available in a small venue. I was on my own for my first visit but I had all the well stocked shelves in front of me with interesting products to browse so I wasn't bored.

Pros: Very welcoming staff, Interesting, healthy food, Good location

At last, a VEGAN cafe in Exmouth!

Lovely vegan products: fresh hot/cold food to eat in or take away; hot and cold drinks; and exceptional cakes!

Compassionate eating

Just what Exmouth has been waiting for. A lovely, welcoming vegan, happy cafe. The owners, Ash and Ronnie are lush, really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed scrummy fruit smoothies and tasty toasted sandwiches. If we'd had room we would have tried one of the gorgeous looking cupcakes (next time!) Obviously, so much thought has gone in to planning a pleasant customer experience. Love the little pallet fenced childrens play area. Our kids had a great time dressing up while waiting for our meal. Highly recommend a visit.

Pros: Lovely food and drinks, Great staff, Brilliant play area for kids

NEW, WELCOMING VEGETARIAN CAFE

I just popped in to Plantbased, in High Street, Exmouth, and was immediately struck by the friendly atmosphere and by the enthusiasm of the two young people who run it - Ash and Sky. I shall certainly let all my friends know about the place and will visit it whenever I can - to sit down and enjoy a herb tea and one of their homemade cakes, or to buy some of their healthy products.

Pros: Very good atmosphere, In the centre of Exmouth, Healthy food to be eaten or taken away

Cons: The step is difficult for wheelchairs, There is room for only two tables
