Fantastic. - Edit
We came here for lunch and for cakes. Really great menu and lovely friendly staff. The sandwiches are toasted and really filling. Waffles were tasty and there's quite a few cakes on sale.

Lovely coffee spot! - Edit
Delicious! Great tasting coffee. The porridge is yummy too & you can customize it with 3-5 toppings. The tofu sandwich was also really yummy. I personally thought the star of the show was the apple cake, though! Super kind staff and great space too. I’d come back if I were here longer!

Nothing special - Edit
Apple cake is nice but most pictures you see posted are part of a bigger meal and you can’t just take a yoghurt (you have to take the whole brunch meal).

Taste OK - Edit
The brunch was good, and the place is nice. The staff is very nice, however, I saw some people giving up to order, due to the waiting time (it takes to long, in my opinion).

Wish we found it sooner! - Edit
Bright coffeehouse that feels outside of the main tourist drag, but still only a 5 min walk from Hallgrimskirkja.
Read moreReally enjoyed our cheesecakes, chocolate cookie, and coffee.
Also offers sourdough sandwiches, which we didn’t get to try, but seemed fresh.

Superb little cafe and bakery - Edit
During to this last trip to Reykjavik we probably visited Plantan Kaffihús five times in two weeks. Everything's excellent in this small, vegan coffee shop and bakery. We especially loved the "cheese" buns, which are like a mix between a pretzel and a light biscuit, and an especially moist apple cake with crumble. Highly recommended.

We didn't eat lunch here, but tried the cheese and jalapeño bun and a caramel coconut cake with cream. Both very tasty and fresh!

Filling - Edit
Lovely small cafe. Though tasting wonderfully homemade, the two items I had lacked flavor and were quite bland.

Favorite meal in Iceland! - Edit
My partner and I LOVED our lunch here. We shared a sandwich on focaccia, a rhubarb dessert, and lattes. Both filling and delicious. If you are a vegan (or just enjoy great food) and are staying in Reykjavík, this is a must.

Really great vegan cafe near the swimming pool downtown - the desserts are amazing and change every now and again. Highly recommend the cheesecake! They also have a really great brunch deal - if you’re going here in the morning don’t miss out on it.

Wonderful brunch - Edit
We had the brunch platter with tofu scramble, baked potatoes, warm tomatoes, sausage, yogurt with muesli and baked apples, waffles with syrup and berries, fresh fruit, sourdough bread, and hummus. It was really impressive and everything was delicious. The coffee was good too! The pastries that we did not sample also looked delicious. Cute place.
