Delicious sandwiches

I had the BLT and my husband had the grilled cheese
Tasty and quick service- expensive (as everything is in Iceland) but you get free filter coffee refills with every coffee purchased so that’s a little bonus

So good that we ate here twice! - Edit
This coffee house is an amazing little place with a great central location in Reykjavik. They had a wide range of options, from light sweets such as cakes and baked goods to more filling savory options like their sandwiches. They had a caramel coconut cake that was incredible, but their sandwiches were very hearty and all delicious. Perhaps best of all were their cheese buns, which came either with or without pickled onions (both options were excellent). If there’s another opportunity to be in Reykjavik again, going here is definitely a priority.

You’ll have dreams about this place….never have we had better vegan cake— Icelandic favorite caramel cake. I had a pumpkin soup and bread my husband had the vegan BLT. He had a regular latte, I had a match latte…again dreamy! Vibe was bright, sunny, hopeful and kind. Staff were helpful and lovely.

Delicious treats! 🥮🥮🥐 - Edit
Unfortunately I did not have much time to stay here and had to dash nearly after sitting down. What I got to experience was wonderful, and I’ll definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in Reykjavik!!

Loved it so much!! - Edit
We went here for coffee and cake and we both loved it so so much!! All their pastries looked so beautiful and tasty!! We went for the chocolate cheesecake and the apple crumble with a latte and cappuccino with oat milk. The coffees were very good! The chocolate cheesecake was the best vegan pie I ever ate! 😍🤤 My boyfriend also loved the apple crumble.

Get the bagel - Edit
We ate at Plantan Kaffihus as often as possible while in Reykjavik. Even when we were heading out of the city for the day we got something to go. The sandwiches, cakes, slices, granola bowl, and drinks were all excellent. I would travel for the bagel - the carrot and all of the elements were so fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Sandwiches and rolls, oh my - Edit
A cozy little vegan cafe with a great drink menu and simple but filling breakfast options. Everything is served in adorable handmade cups and vintage plates! We chose two BLT sandwiches and a selection of the pre-baked cheezy knots - delicious! Plus some hot aromatic chai, it made a rainy Reykjavik morning much better. Another option were scrumptious-looking yoghurt and oatmeal bowls. They also have a small selection of items for sale - some Icelandic vegan cosmetics and Aeropress items.

We had breakfast here and it was really good. The food and coffee were very tasty and the place was buzzing. We had the bagel and BLT and both were great. We also had a sort of pizza bun, can't remember the name, which was a great finish. Do stop here!

Tasty breakfast porridge, pastries, cakes, coffee, and some sandwiches. The omni coffee shops often have lines out front. This is the only fully vegan coffee house in town. Give it some love and coin.

Definitely find time for lunch and cake here! I am visiting from the U.S., and today is my birthday. I tried the Biscoff cake (as a birthday treat), and it was just perfect. Highly recommend stopping in for a treat and a nice coffee.

Unbelievable - Edit
It seems like vegan food in Iceland has come a long way since I was last here in 2017 and Kaffi Vinyl was the only vegan spot. Been here twice so far and everything has been delicious. The marinated carrot on the bagel is so good.

Nice little vegan cafè - Edit
A lot of vegan options - soup after 11.30. The cake was delicious, as the match latte. A little expensive, but it is normal around Reykjavik I think. The place is cute and nicely decorated. In any case, it is nice to know that there are places like this even in Iceland!

A gem of a vegan place! - Edit
This is heaven for vegans (and others, too), full of tasty options and it's all vegan! It wasn't too busy when I went, so I stayed a while and tried all sorts of things - a cheese roll, a tofu bacon sandwich, and a piece of chocolate cake (which was, no exaggeration, life-changing). Also a cosy and cute place. Kinda quiet atmosphere, which was nice for studying/working.

Fully Vegan and Delicious - Edit
This is a sweet little cafe with a selection of baked treats, pre made sandwiches, soups, and coffees. I arrived so hungry so ordered a tofu bacon, lettuce and tomato. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crispy and the tofu bacon had great flavor. My dessert was lemon raspberry cake and I said yes to the whipped cream. I’m almost crying how delicious this whipped cream is!!!
