Me and my partner went to planta and I was gagging for some food because we hadn’t eaten anything proper all day. I ordered the Kentucky burger but it was basically a couple of seasoned tofu slabs with some breaded mushrooms and some sauce, edible but I wouldn’t have it again. The chips were great as was the double chocolate milkshake. My partner has the classic burger which she enjoyed. I had a bite of it and wished I would have had it too. Would visit again but avoid the Kentucky burger. Fair priced and great location.

To be completely honest, their burgers weren’t my favorite. I found that they did not have the best taste (it could be my own preference but I wasn’t a fan of the flavors they experimented with). Their milkshakes were yummy and they are perfectly located with a patio for the warmer weather.

I had the southwest burger and it was pretty good and filling. I also had the banana, date and tahini smoothie and it was okay. I haven’t been to the other Planta restaurants to compare but it’s a cute little place. I would definitely return!

Before my Toronto trip “Planta” was a trademark coming up in all reviews. But when visiting Planta Burger the difference to the other Planta restaurants was more than obvious. My expectations was far over what I received. This was the black sheep of the Plantas.

A nice vegan burger place, we tried 3 different burgers. All very tasty. The truffle burger was good as were the truffle fries it came with. I would eat here again when I was in the mood for a burger.

After visiting the main Planta restaurant on a recent trip to Toronto, I decided to head to Planta Burger for lunch. The options for reasonable. Just a bit more scaled back from the main restaurant. I had the Kentucky burger and was a bit less impressed than when I went to the main restaurant, but it was still decent.

I love all vegan menus! Gf options were easy to identify. The Caesar salad wasn't great. The dressing was definitely not a very Caesar like dressing, and was VERY oily. I'd just get fries next time.

Stopped in here on the way to a Raptors game. Had the firehouse with Poutine and the Southwest with the truffle fries. Both were generous portions, so flavourful and tasted great.

So, this was my first experience with Planta and I headed here after a really difficult day. For some reason, I expected a restaurant but its more of a small fast food joint where you have to order at the till and they call out your name. Fair enough!
Read moreI ordered "The Cubano" - their jackfruit burger. It was quite average, specially the bun was pretty artificial, do not expect anything artisan. I liked their truffle fries, even though they are just regular fries with truffle-infused seasoning. The price for the combo was really cheap though.
I personally don't like the single-use packaging they use, it might be biodegradable or whatever, but still I would prefer if they used proper dishes and cutlery. That is one star less for me.
Still, I would anytime prefer this place over chains such as Tim Hortons or A&W.

Spent 10 days in Toronto and ended up here almost daily, I tried all their burgers and they were all good, my favourite probably being the Californian, and I recommend the buffalo cauliflower on the side. Lovely girl behind the counter and the guys in the kitchen were just as friendly. No complaints at all, thanks all
