Flavorful! Favorite burger spot.

An awesome burger spot! I ordered their holy guacamole burger, buffalo wings, and iconic fries. The holy guacamole burger was tasty and well put together - I'd definitely get this again. Their iconic fries were also delicious. The American "cheese" was actually melted, the secret sauce was bomb, and the caramelized onions gave the fries the perfect oomph. The buffalo wings were too saucy and grainy for me and more like tenders. The ranch was good and helped cut the sauciness.

It looked like they were getting a steady flow of customers but the wait wasn't bad. Best burger spot I've had yet!

Soooooo good!

Hits the spot for fast food type stuff. The Big Zac and Buffalo Chicken sandwich were amazing. Fries were great too! Definitely worth a trip if you’re nearby

Was alright

Only my husband ordered from here but I had a bite of both the items he ordered. I’m not really into this type of food so it’s about a 2.5-3 for me. My husband said he’d give it a 4.

He ordered the classic ‘bacon cheeseburger’, ‘chicken’ nuggets, kale slaw, strawberry old fashioned milkshake.

It’s great that this place is available as an alternative to regular fast food chains and I appreciate it for that

Good vegan fast food

This is a great spot when you want some really good vegan fast food. Had a Rambler burger and fries. It was very yummy and so convenient to order and pickup. There was something about the fries that I found to be better than other restaurants too. I can't pinpoint exactly what I liked better than the others but they were very appetizing. Will be trying the fish sandwich and shake next time.

Great service and delicious food

I tried their Buffalo ‘66 sandwich and fries. I used their drive up window and it literally only took like 5 minutes for the food. It was SO delicious and I also really enjoyed their vegan ranch!

The Perfect Comfort Food

The Big Zac is a vegan alternative to a McDonalds Big Mac, which is worth the trade. The chicken fingers and all dipping sauces are a perfect marriage. The Fish Filet is exquisite. The peanut butter shake is to die for; the classic vanilla will satisfy any vegan or meat-eaters craving for a shake. During my first time in San Diego, I went for three days in a row! On the third day, I was sure to arrive before 11 AM to try breakfast. All I have to say is YES, YES and YES again! Get you a sausage, egg, and cheese, a breakfast burrito, or the chicken and waffle sandwich if you’d like to fly to heaven early!

Pros: Lots of Vegan Options., Great for meat-eaters looking to convert., Awesome staff.

Cons: Breakfast ends at 11AM.

Plant Power is my cocaine, too!

I was looking for a place to eat at here in San Diego and the first review I read (the one right before this one) about this place stated “Plant Power is my cocaine”. I’m not a drug user, but how could I turndown food being compared to the ultra addictive stimulant cocaine?

Prior to becoming vegan, I loved McDonalds breakfast (that’s the only thing about McDonald’s food I will admit is legit) so I planned to visit Plant Power during their breakfast hours. I ordered the sausage egg sandwich, the chicken and waffles sandwich, and a hash brown. The sausage and egg sandwich was delicious and reminded me of a McDonald’s breakfast sandwich. The chicken and waffle sandwich, though! Oh man! That maple aioli they put on it is magical. The chicken is nice and crispy and I honestly believe if you gave it to a non-vegan they wouldn’t know the difference.

Needless to say, Plant Powered, you have gained a fan. Luckily I don’t live in San Diego or else rehab may be in my future.

I could probably support plant power solely from my business. I am addicted to their breakfast and bacon!! Their kombucha floats are to die for. I wish their breakfast was all day.

Fast food favorites

Typical fast food feel from a completely veg restaurant. VeggieGrill like...though better. They have smoothies, organic juices, soft serve ice creem. The best burger is the black bean burger.

Pros: Great price. good food. quick. nice people. great , open till 10pm week nights.

Cons: ahhhh. none.

MY FAVORITE

This is hands down my favorite vegan spot in all of San Diego. They literally have any American fast food option you can think of and it’s 100% vegan. Not to mention it’s so incredibly delicious. The milkshakes, oh lord, they are to die for. Please, if you are vegan and visiting San Diego - GO HERE!

Vegan Fast Food !

Cleaner Fast Food

Since my husband and I went vegan, taking my vegetarian mom to Ruby’s Diner for a veggie patty and milkshakes was no longer an option. I was looking for a decent alternative. Plant Power is it. The burgers are flavorful and satisfying without being greasy. My mom couldn’t stop raving about the fries. The chocolate milkshake was delish. And I must say that the employees are friendly and patient.

Fried chicken sandwich was so much like the non-vegan version it was crazy. Filling too! Loved every second. Love this place. I want them to be everywhere!!!

Everything is amazing and well-priced

The best nuggets I’ve had ever, vegan or not. Absolutely delicious could eat sooo many!! Love all the sauce options. Everything is well-priced. Love that they offer black bean burgers in place of the usual kind. Amazing vegan animal fries. Everything!! I pray this place spreads everywhere because it would be huge anywhere it goes. I’m confident all my non vegan friends would love this place so much. Y’all are so lucky if you live within 3 hours of one of these!!!

Meh

I wanted to love Plant Power, but unfortunately I was not impressed. The food was lackluster and didn't meet my high expectations after reading the reviews. The first few bites were delicious when the food was hot, but as soon as it started to cool off, it started tasting a bit weird and I felt kind of sick after eating the Iconic Fries.

Delicious vegan food that is just like eating at McD’s

Love the breakfast burrito and spicy buffalo chicken. I wanted to order more stuff but was too full. We stayed in OB just so we could go there. You can order breakfast or lunch until 11am

Incredible Food - Hopefully the Future of Fast Food!

Simply amazing. I ended up coming back for breakfast the next day after having dinner the night before. The milkshakes are the best I've ever tried.
