The breakfast croissant sandwich was fire but it’s just a few bucks more than fast food should be.

Place was Dope! - Edit
This place is a gem. Do not let the "fast food" description fool you. Fast food in that you order, you pay, go have a seat. Food is brought to you. Otherwise, great quality!! Absolutely delicious and seriously affordable.

Much healthier than conventional fast food! - Edit
The Big Zac hit the spot and was surprisingly low in fat and salt compared to conventional double cheeseburgers. Mighty Walnut Brownie is decadent.

I still like it but… - Edit
I’ve noticed that their food quality decreased a little, the burger buns and bagels are a bit burnt lately, food in general is on the colder side, not as good as it used to be. My favorite thing is the fried egg and bacon bagel, yes, a vegan fried egg that is so good, it makes you doubt it is vegan, that’s how good it is, amazing. The breakfast burrito is also a favorite and the burgers with the “beefy” patty are really good too.

Ordered:
Read more-Big Zac, mustard, extra pickles
-iconic fries
-horchata shake
I arrived very hungry and when I saw the menu I had trouble deciding because there were so many great options, friendly staff helped with some recommendations. The Big Zac was tasty and sizable. The “cheese” on the burgers had a great melty consistency but the flavor wasn’t super strong. Happy that they had Cholula hot sauce packets. I enjoyed the iconic fries, reminiscent of in-and-out animal style, I did put Cholula on them also. Will be back next time I’m in the area, I’m curious about the fish sandwich.
Pros: Many vegan options, Friendly staff, Thicc Vegan Shakes

Amazing fries, ok chickn - Edit
The iconic fries were amazing, could’ve used a little more salt. But the chickn nuggets were just ok. My omni dad liked them more than I did. The price was great and the chocolate chip cookie was chewy and soft but could’ve been made better at home

It’s Decent! - Edit
I feel like this is controversial, but I was disappointed. The food was good, don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t nearly as amazing I was expecting due to the hype. I may have just ran into a bad day because some of my order was wrong too. The Big Zac was good, but not mind blowing. The fries were fine. The ranch dipping sauce was fine, but not my favorite compared to other vegan restaurants. The chicken tenders were really good, and my favorite. If I have it again I will try a chicken sandwich, which I think would be better. I also noticed the prices seemed a little high for the amount of food given in the half full fries and missing chicken tender, but again, maybe it was just a bad day. I love the concept and variety though!

Always A Must, When In O.B.! - Edit
Plant Power Fast Food is always a must when I’m in or near-by Ocean Beach! The whole menu is really good! My go to has been the Big Zac Burger! Yes, the Big Zac burger which highly resembles the McDonald’s Big Mac but knowing that the Big Zac is made entirely without the use of animal products makes this burger that much better! Also, the Cookies & Cream Milkshake from Plant Power reminds me of the Oreo Cookie Shake I used to order at Jack in the Box when I was younger. But these milkshakes from PPFF use soy-based vanilla ice ‘cream’ blended with oat milk. This fast food restaurant deserves five stars! Will continue to return.

Plant Power Fast Food - Edit
OMFG. When I first ate here, I died and went to vegan heaven. Did you know that the real name of heaven is actually Plant Power Fast Food? I didn't either. Mind blown.
Read morePPFF is a super cute vegan fast food joint that includes a drive up section where you can order your food from your car (or you can eat inside the restaurant). The menu is extensive and prices are completely reasonable too.
I had read about the Big Zac on Veg News and ordered it immediately. I also ordered a matcha milkshake and my bf ordered a chicken patty sandwich (not fried) with voodoo fries. The Big Zac was so delicious. This burger was supposed to resemble the infamous Big Mac, though I had never had real Big Mac before (as I've been vegetarian since age four and vegan for 13+ years now) so I can't compare it; however, my bf said it was pretty close to the original (but meat-free of course). The Big Wac from Green in Arizona is still my #1, but Big Zac is definitely a top contender coming in at #2.
The matcha milkshake was excellent, I loved it. My bf's chicken sandwich was boring and would have been much better fried. I'd suggest skipping the voodoo fries too, they were OK and I felt my calories could have been better spent elsewhere, like on another Big Zac!
We also returned the next day for breakfast before a hike. I had a Canadian bacon egg sandwich, it was good and under $6. I also ordered hashbrowns as well and they weren't worth the cost/calories...they were seriously the rectangular hashbrowns you could buy in the freezer section of the grocery store. PPFF should consider making real hashbrowns.

This food was amazing! My family and friends enjoyed their food! Even my friends who aren't vegan loved it! We had the Holy Guacamole burger, the Rambler burger, the chicken burger, the Classic burger, chilli cheese fries, and 2 kids meal burgers. We also shared a delicious stawberry milkshake amd some yummy ice cream! The employees were super kind and friendly! Everything tasted fresh, delicious, and healthy! I hope a Plant Power will open in Santa Maria☆

Flavorful! Favorite burger spot. - Edit
An awesome burger spot! I ordered their holy guacamole burger, buffalo wings, and iconic fries. The holy guacamole burger was tasty and well put together - I'd definitely get this again. Their iconic fries were also delicious. The American "cheese" was actually melted, the secret sauce was bomb, and the caramelized onions gave the fries the perfect oomph. The buffalo wings were too saucy and grainy for me and more like tenders. The ranch was good and helped cut the sauciness.
