Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
HappyCow is my go-to source for finding 100% vegan restaurants when I travel. I no longer patronize non-vegan restaurants, which are literally sanitized extensions of the slaughterhouse. That includes vegetarian restaurants, since egg and dairy operations are inherently crueler to animals than meat production. For areas without vegan eateries, I pack my own food.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've traveled to over 50 countries with plans to visit many more. It's exciting to find vegan eateries popping up all over the world.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Anything 100% vegan, either raw or cooked. Prefer more PA (Phytonutrients Antioxidants) less SOS (Salt Oil Sugar).
