The perfect breakfast sandwich - Edit
Sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. Add bacon and jalapeño, sub pepper jack cheese. THEN, put your hash brown inside and dip it in buffalo sauce. With or without the sauce, it’s perfect. I’ve gotten it almost every day since I started visiting here.

We went to PPFF on our way back from big bear (and starved of some good vegan food). The breakfast menu looked very affordable but the burgers were what we decided on. With how much prices have gone up they seemed to actually be affordable compared to a ton of other socal vegan spots.

Refreshing Take on Fast Food - Edit
I had the Big Zac which tasted just like a Big Mac from McDonalds. I’m not sure if I should be impressed or disappointed, but it was like $16 for a burger which is double that of a McDonalds burger. I know it’s not a good comparison since this is vegan, but it just doesn’t feel right to me 🤷♂️. I’ll have to come back to try the other stuff, and I’ll update my review then.
Read moreEdit: I did come back today to try the Iconic Burger and Fries which I did like more. I still found it way too expensive for what it is. It was $20 for a burger, fries, and drink meal. I will say the Iconic Fries have a HUGE portion and you could have that as a meal by itself. I went at peak lunch hour on a Sunday, and I waited at least 20 minutes for my meal. For the place that claims to sell fast food, it sure is slow.
Edit 2: It seems the more I go to this place, the more fond I become of the food. There is one thing that has blown me away and it's the breakfast burrito. Probably the best I've ever had vegan/non-vegan. There's some sort of chipotle sauce that gives it an explosion of flavor, I've been trying to replicate it at home to no avail. Until then Plant Power can take my money...

Top Vegan Spot - Edit
Plant Power is one of my favorite vegan places of all time. The service and meals are consistent, delicious, and fast. I’ve tried most of their options, but my go to is the iconic fries (without onions lol), and a burger or chikn sandwich. My non veg father even loves to come to Plant Power with me and says the burger tastes no different than the animal verison. The snow days are also SO GOOD especially the butterfinger one (I want them to sell them as candy bars?!) The staff is always great, but ordering at the kiosk makes it easy to customize everything yourself! They also have a great points system.

Absolutely love this place for breakfast options. I've eaten here for dinner, but I'm not the biggest fan of vegan burgers anymore. However, I love this places breakfast options and milkshakes! Love that they have combo meals. My go-to is the Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant with sausage added to it. Their hasbrowns are killer, close to how I remember McDonald's tasting. I had the coffee for the first time today (caramel cold brew), and it was great as well. Check this place out!

This is the 3rd plant power I've been to. Coming out to Yucaipa where rents are lower then Encinitas or Long Beach i was shocked to see lowest price burger- like a happy meal- be $7.50. I get inflation. With that said I will always go to plant Power over VG and glad to have a place to eat while traveling. Btw, black bean burger is kind of spicy. Recommend the soy patty. Get a shake.

I finally got around to trying out Plant Power and it exceeded my expectations with an overall good first impression with taste and flavors however I did receive some unsatisfactory experience of being served cold food.
Read moreA few critiques that I noticed is for the amount of foot traffic this establishment got it seemed a bit slow to fulfill orders and appeared understaffed. There is a long wait time to receive your order when it’s busy. Unfortunately this had an impact on my burger being a bit on the cold side and not fresh off the hot grill. Serving cold food is not acceptable in my opinion and for this reason I have to give it a 3 star review.
This could have been an anomalous event that I experienced so I am sure if you visit you may have a better outcome. Either way if you are in the area it’s a worth a visit and try the food out yourself.
If you can’t decide the Iconic Burger (similar to an in-n-out burger) and the Milkshake is a safe bet. The strawberry milkshake was very delicious.
