Plant Food ist ein sehr leckerer veganer Streetfoodstand in Aarhus. Obwohl es mittags recht voll war, war die Bedienung freundlich und das Essen war schnell fertig. Sehr zu empfehlen sind das BBQ Mushroom-und das Avocado-Sandwhich.

Read moreGot a burger and a bowl with bbq mushrooms, quinoa and fermented cabbage and it was great. The bread in the bowl was either chewy or too crisp but otherwise the food was great, very tasty!
Even the potatoes were good.
It's a super small kitchen they serve from and it's in a street food place so you buy your food and then you find a table that are shared with lots of other customers.
You don't buy the drinks at the same place, there is one place in the street food area that sells drinks and you get drinks from there.

Their burgers are incredibely nice and, if you like, greasy. Their plant bowls are also good, I just felt like their roasted bread was unexpectedly hard and salty in the plant bowl, nevertheless that tasted great too!😄

Aarhus street food might be a bit crowded, but offers one of the best vegan burgers in Aarhus. Maybe even THE best vegan burger in Aarhus! :)

Awesome Street Food Stall - Edit
Inside street food market (indoors, plenty of seating). When I visited it was burgers/chilli sin carne/soup and other stuff, not pasta atleast at the moment. Had chilli sin carne served with delicious bread and vegan garlic butter. Would definitely visit again.

Unbelievable burger - Edit
Went there with my bf yesterday and we got our mind blown. The burger and potatoes and sauce were amazing! For the rest of the night we could not stop talkin about the food. We're in Aarhus for two nights, and we are thinking about going back for a secound time.

Read moreFirst of all, it is great to see more Vegan food places coming around the Middle of Jutland (Midtjylland).
The burger was great, and my friend who is not a vegan said quote while we were eating:
"This burger tastes more like meat than any of the burgers with actual meat you can get from places like McDonald's or Burger King"
It is indeed a great tasting meat-like burger, and people who haven't tried plant based alternatives will have a fun experience, however, I think that for someone who eats more than the usual, this burger meal with potatoes will probably not feel like a lot of food. And especially, if you compare it to the price, you don't get as much food fo the price as if you ordered 8 cheese burgers at McDonald's, but again you aren't buying the meal for getting fully loaded, but rather for a fun experience to try and the taste.
This will change to how much plant based eating is growing in popularity, as more and more start to buy plant based alternatives. Prices will drop drastically at some point in the future

Plant Food offers a small variety of seriously well crafted dishes. Freshly made pasta with amazing sauces and a nordic take on the Beyond burger. Really delicious! Prices are fair but a tiny bit higher of what you typically find at streetfood. Definitely worth a visit!
