Always happy to stumble across a vegan café, but we were underwhelmed. Had a scone which was a bit dry, they had run out of cashew cream so we just had squirty cream with it (they did check that was ok though). The coffee was ok, but too milky. We had to wait 15 mins just for coffee and the scone even though they weren't busy. Biggest plus was getting a bag of pick and mix sweets

A happy place to visit. Clean, tidy and above all, food that you will come back for and the menu does have new dishes every so often. Take-away is no problem and overall, Woodbridge is lucky to have the Plant Cafe. On my visit, the cook was happy to talk to me and if you are really lucky, you might hear the owner singing to herself as she's working.

100% vegan cafe. Dog friendly too which was a bonus. I had a delicious “cheese” scone and salad but there were sin meals available too - cauli curry, soup, vegan burger, chilli etc. Really friendly and welcoming.

Well worth a visit! Amazing cakes! - Edit
My first visit today. Although I’ve said ‘Amazing cakes’ in headline, it was actually all amazing!! My two little ones loved the kids mini hot chocolate they do & carrot cake. I had a curry & a very naughty cake slice myself! 🤭 I definitely plan to go there again next time I’m in that area of Suffolk

Kebab, salad, sauce, chips, pitta and tastes outta this world. Worth a lockdown drive just to get treated to this meal. Even the baby liked trying it. Great price and great portions!

Takeaway at mo due to covid. Lovely food and lovely people all boxed up ready if you give them a time. I had bean chilli & rice and partner had kebab, salad and pitta. Really yummy

Sweet potato, kale & greens curry - Edit
The Plant Cafe is located on a street famed for its restaurant's and fast food establishments, so in a great location. I chatted to the two ladies that run the cafe who kindly went through that days menu and explained how their system worked. It's a buffet system and instead of paying by the meal you pay by weight, so you can have as little or as much as you like. I choose the sweet potato, kale and greens curry which was very tasty. I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in Ipswich, as I'll be going here again 😁👍
