Tom is a papa bear

I stopped by in the morning, hoping to try the cinnamon buns a HappyCow reviewer had raved about — “the best,” they said. But the place was unexpectedly closed, no notice.

Later, I passed by again, still craving those buns. Tom hadn’t made any yet, but when I asked, he kindly offered to bake a fresh batch if I could return in two hours.

I did — and it was worth every minute. I was handed the warmest, freshest cinnamon rolls straight from the oven. The dough could’ve been a touch sweeter for my taste, but they were lovely nonetheless. That kind of kindness and freshness? Rare and memorable.

Pros: Tasty cinnamon bun, Friendly owner

Cinnamon Buns are out of this world

Wow! What fantastic cinnamon buns!
I popped into Artizan after seeing the 'Vegan Cinnamon Buns' sign out on the street. As I stepped into the cafe I immediately knew I'd done the right thing, not only was there a divine aroma of Cinnamon Buns that filled the cafe but I was also met with ultra friendly service which was very welcoming indeed. The Cinnamon Buns looked absolutely delicious, and tasted even better! My husband and I agreed that it was the best cinnamon bun we have ever tasted....yep, in the world!! We've had the experience of some quite dry cinnamon buns in other places in the past but this was so fluffy and heavenly. Absolutely amazing. Well done Artizan!
We also had a lovely warm savoury wrap which I can't remember the name of but it was filled with a pesto type filling. It was so tasty.
If Artizan were a vegan place I'd definitely give it 5 stars, the wizardry behind those cinnamon buns is mind boggling.
The guy who served me, who I assume was the owner was really great. It's not often you get top notch service like that!
Definitely would go back again.
