Serves meat, vegan options available. Small pizza and pasta restaurant offering lunch sets. The menu includes one pizza marinara and a small salad. Open Tue-Sun 11:30am-2:00pm, 5:00pm-9:00pm.
Closed Mon.
I didn’t expect it to be the best pizza but to my surprise the pizza dough is very good and they let me customize the toppings so it is quite vegan friendly.
They have a proper oven and the pizzaiolo knows his stuff. It’s also relatively inexpensive at 1,000 yen. Atmosphere inside is a bit like a pub, especially if you sit at the counter. Owner and staff speak English and were very welcoming. All in all it was a great experience, and I’ll be back on my next trip to Sapporo.
As an American vegetarian traveling in Japan for three months, I’ve had my share of pizza all over the country. This is one of the better spots I’ve tried—the crust is excellent, the vegetables are fresh, and the cheese seems like actual mozzarella. There’s only one vegan pizza on the menu but I’m guessing they’d let you customize. I didn’t try the pasta as I’m wary of hidden seafood, etc, but vegetarians have a number of options as far as pizza goes. I was here for lunch, so it’s possible the dinner menu is larger.
There was an English menu as well.
