Bakery with many locations. This one is in central Sapporo in Odori Station's Food court on the B1 floor. Makes around 4 kinds of vegan suitable bread plus some buns and small breads. Products are marked with symbols for dairy and/or egg ingredients. Vegans be advised that the labels are in Japanese-only. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-7:30pm.

happy to finally eat some bread

Deliciously subtle blueberry bagel, soft and chewy regular bagel and some super fresh bread rolls. Not a huge selection for vegans but really appreciated what was on offer.

Pros: Blueberry bagel :), Takes card!

Cons: Limited range

Easy to access from Odori station

As mentioned, this bakery is in the Odori station underground area. It’s in the department store Mitsukoshi, which is next to the entrance to Pole Town/Susukino station underground walkway. The bakery is in the far corner of the department store. Allergens are listed in Japanese. As with Genki, I’m guessing best to arrive early in the day for the best selection as minimal as available when I arrived late afternoon.

Good selection

Vegan products included plain bagel, blueberry bagel, walnut cinnamon bread, and most of the plain bread rolls/baguettes. All very tasty. It’s inside the food court of a fancy department store.
