vegan pizza options never lack in flavor - Edit

I've been to Pizza Barbone multiple times and I've always been impressed and satisfied. My go to pizza order is the 'Barbone Meatball" with their house made vegan cashew cheese and no meatball (they will usually let you swap the meatball for vegan cheese, no extra charge). It is thin crust neapolitan pizza with sauce, vegan cashew cheese, olives, and fresh oregano. So good! This time we also go the crostini special as an appetizer. It was basically loaded avocado toast (also vegan). It came with heirloom tomatoes, red and yellow sweet peppers, jalepenos, pickled onions and zucchini. I highly reccomend it if they have it on their specials menu. My boyfriend always orders an omnivore pizza and is always pleased so this is a great place for vegans and omnivores to share a meal! The decorations and atmosphere are fresh and hip and it is always busy when we are there.

Pros: many fresh vegan options , house made vegan cheese

Good Choice - Edit

Tell them up front you are vegan and they are very accompanying. They made the roasted cauliflower without the cheese and used oil instead of butter. I ordered the forest mushroom pizza and they substituted roasted garlic for the garlic cream. It was delicious. Their cashew cheese ($2 extra) is very mild and more like ricotta but was good on the pizza. We are on the cape for 2 weeks and will definitely be back.
As a plus they have a back entrance from the parking lot, by Morgan Stanley.

Pros: very accomidating

Cons: a little pricy

so good!! - Edit

I got the margarita pizza with the cashew mozzarella. I have had many vegan pizzas in the past, but this one was by far the best one yet. The cashew cheese was different. It really didn't taste like anything, but it complemented the dish very well. I would definitely come back anytime.

Great pizza! - Edit

I was super excited to find vegan pizza on the Cape and the fact that they use house made cheese instead of Daiya was even more amazing! I got the Barbone meatball without the meatballs, so caramelized onions and kalamata olives. This was the best pizza I've had in a long time. Our server was also super helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Pros: lots of choices, great service , cashew cheese

Six vegan friends and I came here for dinner after spending a day at the Cape. Our waitress was fantastic - recommending vegan options and putting up with multiple special requests. The gourmet pizza was great and everyone left the restaurant quite pleased at their selection. I definitely recommend this place!

Pros: Great service, knowledgeable wait staff, Very vegan friendly, conveniently located

Cons: airconditioning was up too high - brrrrr, A bit pricey

ok vegan pizza - good for hungry vegans on the Cape! - Edit

This pizza was pretty average - they use vegan cashew cheese if you ask, but it is $2 extra. However, there are limited options and the pizza was quite bland without much favour. Good option if you really want to eat out in the cape.

when in the cape... - Edit

Being a vegan in cape cod, you take what you can get and the cashew cheese pizza really hit the spot for a late night snack however being from New York I do not understand why a wood fired pizza or any pizza for that matter would come out chewy and it would have been sooo good if it was crunchy. Sauce was good as well, but as usual you just can't get the dough right outside of the NY metro area.

Delish! cashew cheese - Edit

Wood fired crust with cashew cheese - Delish! with a Rome style appeal. Any pizza can be made vegan but limited veggie choices. The wine options need improvement, dips below a 5 out of 10. Service was good. Outdoor seating, limited tables but a large inside that was clean especially the restroom. Great wheelchair access.

Great option on the Cape - Edit

We really enjoyed the vegan pizza here. The crust was great, and the cashew cheese blended in great. Definitely a great option on the Cape.

You get what you pay for! - Edit

The title alludes to the fact this place can be pricey, but if you choose right, it's worth it. They do not have a ton of options, but in the past they have had an amazing brussel sprouts side dish and the roasted cauliflower can be veganized as can the arugula pizza. If you are in the Hyannis area and looking for a new place, call in to see what the specials are because they usually have an extra option or two.

Pros: quality, accomodating

Cons: price, small selection
