Serves meat, vegan options available. Small, mostly take-out Caribbean restaurant with some items that are always vegan and available for a platter: beans, white rice, yellow rice, fried plantain. Also makes vegan pastelillos: bean, potato, and pico do gallo in a fried flour tortilla. Pastelillos are made-to-order and take 10 minutes, but you can call ahead, specify vegan. Occasionally closes early if sold out. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-7:30pm.

The bean-potato pastelillos are definitely worth the wait of 10 minutes! You can take a stroll down the quaint downtown street while you wait. Absolutely delicious.
As of Sept 2016 they are sometimes doing steamed mixed vegetables (great variety, veggies change daily) for the platter. So be sure to tell them you would love to have the vegan vegetables if they aren't available when you go. Meanwhile enjoy the rice & beans!
