Hip Mexican - Edit
Dark modern decor. A nice surprise in Vineland. Vegadelphia chicken and steak, also 2 flavors of jackfruit. I ordered 3 tacos ; V-chicken, V-steak, and a jackfruit. Portions of meat are low so couldn't really distinguish chicken from steak. The jackfruit was over seasoned. The rest of the plate is filled to the edges with the 2 sides. My husband had a burrito with V-steak. They cut it in half, so it was falling apart, defeating the contained design of a burrito.

Pros: Nice decor, 5 Several vegan meats, Friendly staff
Cons: Staff unsure of ingredients , Needed phone flashlight to read menu , Meat portions are a bit anemic

A let down - Edit
Was very excited when I saw this was an alternative to Chipotle, the vegan menu looked really good. I ordered 1 vegan burrito and added the vedgeadelphia chicken lettuce and tomato. I ordered at 12:04pm, and didn’t get my burrito until 1:02pm. They did have a fairly steady amount of orders coming in as I was waiting in the lobby, with the servers telling people a 15-20 minute wait.. but I’m still not quite sure why my burrito took 58 minutes.
Read moreBurrito finally in hand, it was tasty, the chicken could have used a little seasoning but it’s something I would order again and give them another shot on.. until I found a hair in it. I know this can happen anywhere.. but 58 minute wait and $18.25 going in the trash is definitely a major bummer.

Finally Vegan options at a Mexican place! - Edit
Last night, my husband and I took the 40-minute drive to check out Julio's on Main in Vineland, NJ. They are an omni restaurant with great vegan options. We met the owner, Cesar, who was charming and passionate about his vegan offerings and said he could pretty much do whatever I wanted. I had 3 enchiladas with 3 different vegan options, rice and beans, which are vegan for all. The place is named after his son Julio. They have a great little outside area and a large clean, nicely decorated inside. Don't be fooled when you pull up and see a dark closed place on the left of the shopping center. They moved to the right end, where the 2 buildings converged. It's BYOB. Check the website because the hours are longer than listed here.

Awesome! - Edit
The vegan options are amazing. The owners/staff are really nice and friendly. They have put a lot of thought into their vegan offerings, including a separate grill for preparing their many options. The vegan options are not on the menu, but if you ask at the counter, they will tell you what they have. I ordered 3 tacos with 3 different fillings. My favorite was the Philadelphia vegsteak (?). It was delicious. A close second favorite was the tempe el pastor. They use daya cheese which isn’t the best vegan cheese but I’m not complaining. The platter I ordered also had rice and black beans. Both are vegan and very good, but the best thing on my plate was the corn. It’s super flavorful and yummy! I’m so happy to have a quality taqueria nearby with many different things for me to try!
