You’ve got to go to Picnic Beach! - Edit
I really wanted to give this place a five star rating but the app will only let me give that to a fully vegan or vegetarian place. Regardless, the food and drinks we got here were top notch. We are a group of seven vegans and one meat eater traveling from Nashville (where we have tons of options) to the Gulf, where it seems like fried shrimp and hush puppies are the main theme. It was great to find such amazing, healthy vegan food! And the ambience of picnic beach was perfect too! The kids loved sitting on the grass and eating their supper on the blankets provided by the restaurant. We’re definitely going back before a vacation is over!

Family friendly and delicious - Edit
My husband and I with our 2 kids visited Orange Beach this weekend with low expectations for vegan options. I came across picnic beach on Google and we visited our first night. It has private shaded parking, very clean and well-decorated with the beach theme. A restaurant across the street had a live band playing so we sat outside on this Breezy evening and our food was served fresh and promptly to our table. We had the impossible Burger the Smoke BBQ Jackfruit Burger the PB&J smoothie and Berry acai Bowl. All very delicious. It was so good we decided to visit the next day and ordered the beach dog the plant-based Bowl and strawberry banana smoothie. Again delicious! We chatted with the plant-based chef Steve who is experienced, knowledgeable and looking forward to expanding the menu. All vegans and vegetarians should visit this place while in the Gulf Shores area we will definitely return in the future

This place is awesome. The impossible burger was very good as was the Protein bowl with vegan sausage. Lots of vegan food choices and substitutes like jackfruit and vegan meats/cheeses.
