“donuts” are not good. - Edit
that’s the nicest way i can phrase it. i hesitated to post this review because baldwin county really lacks in vegan options, but everything i tried was awful. all of their vegan options are unfortunately gluten-free as well, and i’m sorry to anyone who has to be gf, but i cannot STAND the texture of gluten-free sweets.
Read morethe “donuts” are so dry that even the super sweet glazes (which are delicious, i’ll give them that) couldn’t save them. they’re half the size of the non-vegan donuts, and yet they’re more expensive! i also put “donuts” in quotes because they’re not even donuts. mini cakes with a hole in the center aren’t donuts, real donuts are always fried!
Pros: having an option in a vegan-unfriendly area
Cons: the vegan option is nasty, stop lumping vegan with gluten-free

I am not usually a cake doughnut fan, but you take what you can get when you live in an area that isn't vegan friendly. These were surprisingly delicious! Very light and fluffy, and the fresh topping was so good. Served room-temperature, which I prefer. I was worried they wouldn't actually have all the flavors, or it would be a fractured prune situation, but alas, I was pleasantly surprised!
