peter pane is the compromise when eating out with my non-veg family. they have lots of vegan burgers, and all their buns and most sauces are vegan as well.

Read moreIn the end it‘s a big franchise and this is why the staff is not always aware of the vegan way of living. In the menu there is a hot chocolate with dark chocolate marked as vegan. After ordering we took the first sip and it was cow milk. The waitress said „only the chocolate is vegan, if you want the drink to be vegan you need to order milk alternatives.“ If they handle the burgers the same way than only the patty is vegan and you have to say explicitly that you want the whole burger to be vegan.
I don’t really think this is the way it should be, and I blame it only on this exact waitress, but it‘s always good to ask twice if you are in a restaurant that belongs to a not vegan franchise.

I was very impressed to see an entire page of vegan burgers! I went for a lunch time to had a mittagsmenu (lunch menu) where you pick a burger, drink, side and dessert for a set price. I paid €18.80 and had plenty of food and a beer. The Mayo on the table was already vegan which was great! I think they had at least one option in each category (at least one pudding, one hot drink etc).

Peter Pane offers a lot of vegan and vegatrian options. We came to try the new planted kebab Sandwich - 9.90€ in a menu which comes with vegetable chips and a 0.5 lemonade. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was friendly.

Systemgastronomie ist natürlich immer so eine Sache: Überall das gleiche Essen, immer der gleiche Standard. Ich bin nun keine echter PP-Fan (ich habe, wenn es um Burger geht andere Favoriten), aber ich war schon in einigen Läden in unterschiedlichen Städten und bisher noch nicht enttäuscht worden.

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass PP immer wieder mal die Rezepturen ändert. Neugierig wir wir sind haben wir den veganen Burger "Kebab Klaus" ausprobiert; ich fand das Ergebnis nicht so überzeugend (meine Begleitung schon).
Auch mal eine Erwähnung wert: Alle Soßen (inklusive Majo und Ketchup) sind bei PP vegan und können im Onlineshop bestellt werden.

System gastronomy is of course always a thing: the same food everywhere, always the same standard. Now, I'm not a real PP fan (I have other favorites when it comes to burgers) but I've been to a few places in different cities and haven't been disappointed yet.
Therefore, I can only say that I have not yet had the negative experiences described below and hopefully will not have them either.
I noticed that PP keeps changing the recipes. Curious as we are, we tried the vegan burger "Kebab Klaus"; I didn't find the result so convincing (my companion did).
Also worth mentioning: All sauces (including mayo and ketchup) are vegan at PP and can be ordered in the online shop.

Read more• Der Service war nicht nur inkompetent, genervt, gehetzt, sondern auch arrogant. Er behandelte uns, als wären wir doof und lästig. (Drogenuser?) Er lehnte ab, Leitungswasser zu bringen, knallte das minderwertige Essen lieblos auf den Tisch. Leider schon das zweite Mal, dass dort ein junger Mann als Kundenscheuche agierte.
• Das letzte Mal sollten wir sogar gehen, da wir ja den Tisch schon länger belegen … und das, nachdem wir ca. eine Stunde gewartet hatten aufs Essen. Was auch noch falsch kam. Wir kommen nie wieder!
• Warum werden die Servicekräfte nicht geschult? Zumindest sollte man 2 Gäste, die für Pappburger mit Fritten 70 Euro (!!!!!) zahlen, respektvoll und freundlich behandeln – wenn man schon keine Ahnung von der Gastronomie hat. Wer hat dort denn Rausschmeißer als Kellner angestellt? Leute, so geht Ihr da bald pleite. Die Lange Reihe in Hamburg bietet viel Schönes, und zwar direkt um Euch herum.
• Preis-Leistung: Katastrophe. Fritten kalt, Bürgerbrötchen nicht kross, wabbelig, unfertig. Auch wies der Katastrophenkellner nicht auf Zusatzkosten hin, er lehnte jede Art Beratungen ab und erwähnte natürlich nicht, dass ich ohne meine Auswahl „Abendmenü“ günstiger gelegen hätte.
• Verwirrende Preisgestaltung: „Menü“ klingt günstig. Gelb auf Weiß steht da dann aber schlecht leserlich ein Pluszeichen beim Abendmenü. Ergibt mal eben 26 Euro für Bürger, Fritten und Getränk. Nicht grad günstig.
• Wär alles nicht schlimm, wenn der Gast wirklich wie ein Gast behandelt würde. Hier aber arbeiten leider neben ein paar netten Leuten zu viele, die versuchen, sich an Gästen ihre Füße abzutreten. Dringender Schulungsbedarf der Führung und des Personals!
Nicht hingehen!!!

Fazit: Nur noch wenn's net anders geht.
Schade, weil die Burger ok sind - und deutlich mehr Gemüse drauf haben, als viele andere Anbieter.

Gleich wie die Restaurantkette Hans im Glück hat auch Peter Pane vegane Burger im Angebot.
Dazu sind die Saucen welche man am Tisch für die Pommes nehmen kann alle vegan.
Bedienung war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

We ate here with non vegan in laws but they even ordered a vegan burger! We had sweet potato fries ti share and they also were perfect. Would really recommend also for groups with vegans and omnis.
