Baddy Boba in Town - Edit
After just one trip, they've shot up to my top three boba spots in San Jose - hands down. Pekoe is a chill tea bar in Evergreen with a modern aesthetic and drinks that will make you coming back for more.
Read moreTheir menu isn't large but that's what makes them so good. They offer a variety of non-dairy milk and fruit tea drinks, all with its own signature flare. Pretty In Pink? Manly Melon? All of the names each deserve some praise as well as the quality and addictiveness of the actual drink.
I ordered the Pekoe Special - their house jasmine tea infused with lavender, orange, and included with boba and grass jelly. Since they were out of the later, they were kind enough to let me sub for some lychee bits, which was a fantastic decision. This drink was everything - high quality tea and a wonderful mix of flavors to go along with the softest boba. I was immediately hooked and wished I had ordered another drink because I really couldn't make a decision based on all the descriptions.
Pekoe is simply one of the best and I am so grateful that we stumbled upon this shop. I for sure want to come back again soon because I was living for this drink.
