My favourite place in Siem Reap - Edit
I love Peace Cafe. It's a veg*n's best friend in Siem Reap. Very casual and relaxed.
Read moreIt's quiet and peaceful, with a meditation hut, yoga, free khmer lessons and free Veg cooking lessons.
And the food is great. All veggie with most of them vegan as well.
My favourites - Amok curry, Thai curry, Gado Gado salad, banana flower salad - pretty much everything on the menu (it's a good sized menu!)
And the drinks are delicious as well - especially the fruit shakes - made with ice and sugar. Delicious.
The staff are wonderful and friendly. And it's very reasonably priced too.
On top of all that - free wifi. It's a perfect place to relax.
Can't recommend highly enough.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Free Khmer lessons and free wifi
Cons: None!

Delightful - Edit
It's a little bit North of the main Siem Reap centre and is definitely worth the trip. Great service, tasty food - a great opportunity for veggies to get khmer curry without worrying about its ingredients or cross contamination.

Great value for money - Edit
I came here at least 3 times.
Read moreWhat was great about this place is staff were helpful. There is a worthwhile cooking class and you get to eat what you make after, I had this on my birthday. You get a lot for your money.
Pumpkin pudding is a show stopper!
Highly recommend cooking class.
Setting also offers authentic Indian yoga sessions for a reasonable price you get to ask questions at the end.
Just want to say a big thank you to the staff who were very accommodating when I was feeling ill, I had no energy and found it difficult to get around so turned up close to closing time, I hadn't eaten all day. I wanted food and lemongrass tea to takeaway and they were able to accommodate and made some useful suggestions for food with herbs that may help with the healing. Thank you all for making me feel welcome.

Best cafe!! - Edit
We went here several times on our trip! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!
Read moreFor breakfast we got the scrambled tofu which was so good. It wasn't like the scrambled tofu Im use to but still amazing maybe even better!
We did the vegetarian cooking class and got served the food after. My favorite was the amok.
The times we returned we tried the Khmer red curry, amok, Khmer Kreung Khtis. All very tasty.
It seems like you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Everything is amazing here. Highly recommend:)

Great flavorsome curry - Edit
I had the amok curry which was nicely flavored. The peanut butter and chocolate smoothie usually has milk but they were able to veganise it by using coconut milk, absolutely delicious! I came back later in the week to join their cooking class. Book in advance, despite what it says on their website, although they were able to squeeze me in.

Brill cooking class - Edit
Did the cooking class, was am1:1 session as nobody else volunteered. Cost $22? Meade fresh spring rolls with a dipping sauce, papaya salad and the veg and tofu amok. Then you get to sit down and eat it. The session is 1pm-2pm.. food was good and the setting lovely…. A garden setting. The cooking takes place on the first floor next door to the yoga room. Recommended.

Great food and attached store for hand made Cambodian goods - Edit
Really nice people and very good food. There's a small attached store that sells Combodian made goods like karma (scarf). Highly recommend for both the food and the store.

An oasis - Edit
So pleased we made the effort to find this little place - relaxing set up, with lovely staff and comfy outdoor seating area. Menu had much to offer, we opted for spring rolls and carrot cake - both were scrumptious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Unacceptable - Edit
Lived here almost 7 years, order food from vegetarian and vegan restaurants/cafe's almost every day. Never any big problems. Until today: we ordered via Nham24 for 21$ from "Peace Cafe". I don't know what happened to the business. Several sauces had completely leaked (plastic container opened), the heavy food was placed on top, the light food on the bottom. The green salad was old and inedible. Okay, it can happen, so we tried to contact the cafe.
Read moreNo chance. Contrary to the usual practice in the country, it is not possible to contact them via Facebook. Second attempt via Telegram: Message read but ignored. Second message ignored. Contacted Nham24, they said the following: "and what would you like from us Bong?"
"As we checked with driver, he had apologize to you and you allow him to go Bong, so let me know that, what can we do on this issue Bong?"
Until now, the cafe was out of reach. Just careless.
I would say this cafe has lost a good customer.

Litterally my fave place in Cambodia. - Edit
We had a list of places to try and today we tried Peace Cafe and I’m so glad I did. This place has a range of foods and all looked super yummy. I had sweet and sour cauliflower and my partner had the Gado Gado, both super yummy. And for desert we had the carrot cake. No joke, best carrot cake I’ve ever tried. When you first get there they give you bug spray and a cold towel to keep you comfortable outside and that was a really lovely tough. The price is 100% fair for the experience.

An explosion of taste in a lovely setting - Edit
I loved Peace Cafe! As soon as you arrive in this quiet place by the river, you are greeted by the warm smiles of the waitresses who are always making sure you have everything you need. They bring fresh towels and organic mosquito repellent that you can find on sale at their shop, and light an incense stick under your table. The setting is lovely, as you are surrounded by plants and it’s very relaxing. The menu is long and everything is so tasty! I have eaten here maybe 5 times, so I’ve tried quite a few dishes. Inside, there is the NGO shop with lovely items with a meaning. They also organise cooking and yoga classes and on Mondays and Tuesdays monks they have monks chatting to whoever is curios - so bad I missed this!
Read moreDefinitely worth going. Service is super fast, also considering they make everything fresh and on the spot. Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you!

Top notch. Loved it. - Edit
Really good food. Vegan options (vs vegetarian) are clearly marked and make up the majority of dishes served. Had the Khmer Red Curry, a Banana Leaf Salad, and the Sweet Pumpkin dessert. It’s really rare to find local dishes prepared to be totally vegan, so we were very happy to find this place. While there are many similarities to Thai food, these wonderfully prepared dishes definitely show off the unique local flavors. Would go back in a heartbeat. Seating is outside.

The name 'Peace Cafe' fits this place perfect. It's set in this amazingly zen garden, so it was with disappointment that my only times coming here was on my lunch break when I couldn't sit and relax for too long.
