Nice homemade vegan cakes - Edit
We stopped by for some cake to go with the coffee we’d bought elsewhere (everything is currently takeaway only due to lockdown). We enjoyed the “bounty” and “snickers” bars! They appear to have a good plant-based menu and will definitely be returning when dine-in is allowed.

Total vegan paradise - Edit
This place is an absolute gem! When we went (1st Nov, before national lock down #2) they were still seating people socially distanced inside as well as on tables outside in a covered area. Service was a little slow, but I think we arrived as the other member of wait staff was on their lunch. Food is entirely delicious and definitely worth the wait- I had the burger and it's one of the nicest vegan burgers I've ever had. My partner had the fry up and said it was equally as good. They also do takeaway sweet treats, weighed salads and hot drinks.

Not as good as before... - Edit
I have been to Paradise a few times now since moving to this area 4 months ago & really liked it the first couple of times. The full English is my favourite (the sausages are very tasty) but lately I've been rather disappointed. The food is not cheap at all & I started noticing the portions have shrunk in size considerably... The last time I went I literally got a spoonful of "eggy ackee", a spoonful of baked beans & not even a quarter of an avocado with my breakfast. Not even joking... I'm not sure what it is, maybe they're trying to make up for the lack if customers with inflated prices and tiny portions (all the times I was there the place wasn't busy and it was over the weekend). I don't think I'll be back. The Comptoir V across the road is a much better value for money.

Healthy food but expensive and not very friendly - Edit
I've been a customer for years as I like the healthy minded food and the convenience of the location, but I've been noticing that the service has been getting less friendly over time. I've been thinking about taking my custom elsewhere for a while and today I finally decided after this bizarre experience I've just had.
Read moreI asked for clarifications about the bill as it seemed higher than it should (for an already expensive burger and smoothie) and the person at the till sarcastically said that if I'm not happy with the service, she will give me my money back. Apparently there's a service charge now, but surely this is not the way to announce it? Anyway I'll be going to Comptoir V from now on, which even though is more of a restaurant, has friendlier service and delicious food. What a shame.
Pros: Raw and healthy options
Cons: Expensive, not very friendly

Was hungry after 10 minutes - Edit
Service was friendly, food was healthy and tasty, the cafe has very pretty decor and all nice and clean.
Read morePortions were surprisingly small and only two pieces of bread and it is quite pricey. I find it quite stingy. I was hungry after 10 minutes and felt £11 poorer for not really much of a meal.
As exciting for me to see a vegan cafe I feel like it would let down a lot of people to those transitioning - I wouldn't recommend coming here
Overall it was not really satisfying. Very disappointing.
I regrettably feel like I won't go here again
Pros: Friendly staff, Everything Vegan all allergies listed, Healthy
Cons: Very Small Portions, Expensive, Bad value

Downgraded from 5 stars to 2 stars - Edit
I previously gave this place 5 stars, and then I downgraded it to 2 stars as they slacked a little with a coupe of items on their salad menu, and the service dropped off a little.

Prices have gone up in the past week AND A 10% service charge all at the same time! - Edit
:(( Wow, what a way to drive away your regular customers..really quite surprised on the service charge - firstly it is lower than the customary 12.5% so it's a bit dubious but there is not table service here - it's set up exactly the same as other veggie eateries such as Raw Press, Deliciously Ella, Juice Baby where you go up and pay at the till - something a bit dodgy here. Not really worth my custom anymore when small businesses start "fixing" things. Good luck but you've lost a regular client and friends.

Expected baked goods - Edit
I noticed the place in passing and popped in. It says 'Paradise Unbakery', so I expected lots of cakes and bread. But the cakes are raw (albeit good looking) and there is a big salad bar. Things are quite pricey, so I decided on a truffle for £1.80 and a tea pot fit £2.50, both tasty. Might come back for a brunch or so one day. Would have appreciated a warmer welcome from the staff. It took a while till anyone spoke to me at all.

Perfect Brunch - Edit
This place is sooo perfect for a weekend vegan brunch with its cozy setting!! My absolute favorite is the "scrambled eggs" but it's part of the full English breakfast - I wish they served it separately! Everything is very yummy, raw mains, the lasagne is amazing too, the only thing that wasn't 5* to me were the pancakes.
Read moreIt is an expensive place especially that it is not London city center but worth it. If it was cheaper I would come here every weekend :)

Am I back in Melbourne? - Edit
Can never go past a smoothie bowl, I had the berry smoothie bowl. So delicious, presentation could be better but obviously doesn’t change the taste, large portion as well. The interior is lovely and feels very clean and relaxed. The only negative is the music, felt like I was in a hotel elevator. It drove me nuts. I will be back to try more on the menu.

Adventurous for us as neither of us are raw vegans, but both the Mac No Cheese (cooked) and the Lasagne were amazing. Sadly no wraps available today so I'll have to come back and try the Wild Wrap.
