Beautiful Italian food - Edit
I loved the variety and super fresh flavours of the products. I would have bought more but we were visiting a vegan market in Horsham and bringing things back to the Isle of Wight.

Veg fest stall - Edit
I tried a jackfruit burger at their stall at vegfest last year and it was really good. It had a sweet sauce which contrasted against the peculiar taste of the jackfruit. However it was on a gluten free bun which, while good for those who are gluten-free, I would have liked to have the choice as I personally don't tend to like gluten-free foods.
Read moreupdate many years later - seen at vegan friendly market in 2022, i honestly kind of fangirled as these guys are such OG vegan food. I got a blueberry poppy seed roll which was super blueberry and yum. They do only ordering now which they didnt do when I had visited before, and have a couple seitan fake meat burgers as well as the jackfruit which I would probably prefer

Loveliest lady and the tastiest burgers!! - Edit
I had only recently become vegan when I came across Sara’s Instagram and it really inspired me. So I decided when I came to visit London next I HAD to have a pomo burger. It certainly didn’t disappoint, you can tell just how much love goes into making every single element of it. I bought my friend along too who is a meat eater and she said if she could eat things like that all the time she’d become vegan in a drop of a hat!

My favourite vegan food stall to date! - Edit
I love Sara’s vegan food stall, it is the best vegan schnitzel burger I have ever had (the BAD burger) and it tastes amazing!!! The mushroom sauce is absolutely to die for and I can even taste this burger in my mouth just by thinking of it, it is just that delicious and memorable 😍

uncooked gluten - Edit
I really wanted to like the burger I had at pomodoro and basilico. The menu sounded great and the women running it seem lovely. But the burger was undercooked gluten. It was like eating uncooked bread dough. I’ve had seitan often and this was simply not cooked properly. It was awful.

Best burgers in town! - Edit
Pomodoro does the best burgers, and the special thing about them is that it's all made from scratch, including the bun! The sweet treats are yummy too, especially the almond croissants.

such a nice lady! - Edit
There are so many vegan options in the boiler room, but the lady who works here is super lovely! I thought the food was nice - not overwhelmingly great, but I admittedly did not try a burger. I would go back just for the service, but next time will try the burger.

Best vegan chef this side of London - Edit
Sara makes the widest selection of vegan foods that I know of. Burgers, Cheeses, Sauerkraut, Sauces, Buns, Sweet treats...in fact, I challenge you to find something at her stall that isn't entirely made from scratch. This woman knows how to cook! And damn does she do it with such finesse! Her food is beyond delicious and if you want more, she even sells her sauces and cheese on Etsy nom nom nom...love this place. I've never been even slightly disappointed walking away with a meal from here. You gotta go.

Tasty burgers and friendly service! - Edit
I made a trip to Brick Lane especially to try these burgers, and I wasn't disappointed! I had the Good Burger, which was really flavoursome and delicious, but my partner was a little disappointed by the Jack Burger - he said it was too salady and the BBQ seasoning didn't come through. We both loved the chips though!
Read moreWe also got a chocolate orange twix bar and a piece of the famous peanut butter, banana and spinach cake - both were sublime!
The owner was really friendly and welcoming. It seems like a great business to support, and I wish I lived closer and could go more often!

I really want to like it - Edit
I had the jack burger here and I really really wanted to like it more as I've been waiting to come here for a while, but it just didn't have much taste; there are two other burgers I haven't tried so perhaps they're tastier. It's a small business so don't be put off coming here to try, I think I just expected more.

Tasty and fun! - Edit
I love going to Boiler House for my burger (or Buddha bowl) fix at Pomodoro e Basílico! The food is amazing, you can choose amongst 3 burgers, pizza, cheezy fingers and sometimes even wholesome and yummy Buddha bowls. Sara and her team are the best part of the experience. They are always smiling and upbeat, no matter how busy they get! Sara cooks everything from scratch and always loves to have sweet items too: twix bars, matcha Oreos, cakes and cookies. Personally, I'd recommend the "Good" burger. And you can also ask for gluten free buns!
