Best food in Croatia so far - Edit
We have been on a mission to patronise every all-vegan restaurant we’ve come across and this has been the best by far (vibe and food). We had the beetroot starter, and the pasta and sliders. I loved it all but the pasta was really amazing, like a deconstructed lasagne. Highly recommend

Nice enough food but weird service - Edit
An extensive, fully plant based menu is always going to make happy vegans! We came here 3 times on our holiday and tried a variety of dishes and drinks. I'd say the best were the tofu sliders and marinated salad. Reasonably priced and yummy, but not "special". Service was also strange, it seemed the staff were stressed and one waitress in particular was quite rude to us. We're not sure if it was a language issue, but the next time she saw us it was much the same. This was a real shame and prevented us from going here again during our stay in Split.

Good brunch - Edit
We stopped for brunch at Pandora Greenbox, a quirky little restaurant. Unfortunately, it was located near a really smelly fish stall so the air was not fresh and we had to eat inside where the smell was slightly less offensive. We had the tofu sliders and chocolate waffles. The sliders were good, served on beetroot buns with nice crispy tofu. But, they needed more sauce. We also ordered the chocolate waffles, which were not actually chocolate, but were plain waffles topped with mounds of sweetened yummy peanut butter and sliced banana. Overall, the food was good and worth trying.

it’s okay - Edit
The food was okay, not good/not bad. The personal was very kind & helped me with my take-away order. Small quantities.. And if you want to eat there, don’t sit outside… a fishy smell may bother you throughout your meal... There's a fish market 50m from the restaurant...

Good but expensive - Edit
I ordered tempeh, my partner ordered risotto. my tempeh was a small portion but beautifully presented. The taste was interesting and well thought out. an option rather for a romantic evening than for a solid dinner, because the prices are high and the portions are small. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful.

Great food..bad outside seating - Edit
Loved the food, I had the chickpea omelette for breakfast and beetroot burger for dinner. Both delicious. Dinner was very uncomfortable as I am a solo traveller and tables are very close together outside so I might as well as shared a table with the 2 people next to me. Would not go back for that reason as its June and i want to eat outside.. I had a table near the wall but I was told move as it was reserved despite no reserved sign. They need to stagger the table layout

Sadly very tasteless and too expensive - Edit
Firstly the decorations in the resturant is amazing, with a big tree in the middle. I was here some years ago, where me and my friends had the best vegan meals we have ever tried. This time was a big dissapointment. Not only is the food very expensive for being Croatia, but there was not much taste in the food. I had the beetroot burger which looks very cool, but does not taste like much. Other than that the service is not very good. The young staff seemed very arrogant and the way they spoke to the customers was sometimes rude. I did not enjoy that experience. I'm so sad to write this review, because one of the reasons I came back to Split is, because of this resturant, but it was a big letdown

Great food - Edit
We visited the place for dinner. The place is in the center of Split, inside the Diocletian Palace. There are a lot of choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. We had the beetroot burger which was amaizing. For dessert they have 2 options: lemon cake and brownie with cashew cream. We had the brownie.

Delicious high quality food in a very nice atmosphere - Edit
Even though you get hummus everywhere as a vegan, they made it something special. It was the best hummus i ever had. The risotto was also a 10/10. I wish i stayed longer in Split so I'd be able to come here again.

Best Vegan Food in Split - Edit
We were so grateful for this restaurant during our week in Split. Not only is it great to find vegan food, but really good vegan food! We ate here a couple of times and everything we had was delicious. The beetroot starter in particular was just delicious. The venue is pretty with the trees and plants all around and the waitress was lovely. We would highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!

Delicious but not wow - Edit
Venue lovely and cosy, nicely decorated, very nice for romantic meal. Good service.
Read moreStarter - Polenta very nice, good size portion and flavours.
Beetroot dish I thought ok but portion too small. Luckily we were given yummy homemade bread with the starters otherwise think would have not been satisfied in the stomach.
Main - We had seitan dish & risotto dish, both very nice.
Desert - we had the lemon cake which was like a cheesecake. Bit underwhelmed, nice but nothing special, think need to add some extra flavours to give it a wow like pistachio or something.
Overall very nice meal, think portions could be but bigger and little on the pricey side but understand this is more fine dining.
We noted on the menu they give cow's milk / regular milk with hot drinks, and non dairy milks are extra, which not very cool I think. Also they are listed incorrectly on happy cow as Vegan, when this means they are not fully Vegan, but are Vegetarian.
I am not sure why they don't go fully Vegan given everything on the menu is vegan aside from the milk option.
Given the full mark you can give vegetarian restaurants is 4, and this should be listed as vegetarian, I will mark as 3 as think there is some improvements to be made to get to full marks.

#1 restaurant in Split - Edit
Beautiful interior and helpful staff. I totally recommend going to this restaurant, when staying in Split. We were lucky to get a table but some people were sent home, because there were no free spots left. So it might be handy to reserve a table. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our evening at Pandora.

Delicious vegan food in the Old Split - Edit
We had a great dinner at Pandora Greenbox. The place is decorated with many plants, very nice and unique. Big choice of homemade or crafted drinks. Food is all vegan from what I saw and also lots of gluten free options. We had first course, main, dessert and I couldn't finish dessert but that's great news! Not the cheapest option you'll find but worth every penny.
