Street food cart adorned with the yellow/red triangular vegetarian flags and parks almost opposite the Indian Temple. Makes few curries and stir-frys throughout the day which are then kept warm. Noodle soup also available. A few tables and chairs. Reported closed January 2023.

real affordable thai vegan street meal - Edit
Found this place when staying on Pan Rd in 2019, and when I was back again in 2020, It was still there and better than I remembered. If you want cheap, good vegan street food this is the place. It's pretty heavy on the mock meats, but some packages are there if you want to read the ingredients. You can eat street style on reusable plates at tiny cramped tables, or be a hero and bring your own container for takeout. Note that this place is usually on the same side of the road as the temple, but sometimes moves. Sometimes it's gone from the street entirely.
Read moreBonus: There are vegetarian desserts in glass cases on the street at the Indian shops nearby. Most have cow milk, but a few don't. You can ask the staff, although I have gotten inconsistent answers in the past.

Vegan street food at its best - Edit
What a gem, to find local vegan street food! Delicious bowls of soup with mung bean noodles, veggies, tofu and mock meat for 50baht a bowl.

lol out for the red and yellow flags on the cart with what looks like the English number “17”

Cheap and so good! - Edit
We paid 100B for 2 kind of soups. It was really good despite we're not soup people! You can add chili, peanuts it's on the table. We weren't hungry after that. The owner is really nice and paid attention to us by asking if we were ok during lunch :)

Simple and delicious - Edit
This restaurant serves noodle soup and entree over rice. I love her vegan noodle soup so much plus the owner (in Thai you can call her P. Pu) is super kind. I’ve talked to her and I can tell that she has a positive point of view about a veganism. I also like the fact that she is a vegan.💓If you have a chance to come to Bangkok, make sure to visit this restaurant. Not expensive at all compare to the area and the quality of food.

World's best soup - Edit
Very delicious food but the soup is legend. I go there every day when I'm in Bangkok. The lady serves precooked curries, veggies with tofu and mock meats too and will them heat up for you and serve them with rice. The lady is the sweetest so kind. Since the police for street food has been changed she moved onto the other side of the street in front of a Indian shop. I love this place. The food served is 100% Jain if this is relevant for someone.

Noodle soup - Edit
Visited twice and had slightly different noodle soups each time, both really tasty with tofu/mock meat. Bowl of noodle soup is now 50 baht but still really affordable.

Good for the price - Edit
At 40 baht, it's had to beat the price for decent food. You get a noodle soup with some veggies, a little tofu, and a little mock meats. Good enough, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Amazing noodle soup - Edit
We had noodle soup with a variety of mock meats in. It tasted amazing and only cost 40 baht. Ordering was slightly confusing as we had asked for noodles and ended up with soup so we didn't know what we were getting, but it was so good we didn't mind.

Great Vegan Street Food - Edit
This food stall is quickly becoming my go-to for cheap and tasty lunch in Bangkok! Only 40 baht for a bowl of delicious soup or rice with a choice of great sides. Some of the previous reviews suggest that the only available dish is the soup however there are also a few other dishes available - not sure if this is a recent addition though. Also, the second time I went the cart had moved so that it was on the same side as the Indian Temple instead of across from it - still roughly the same distance, just keep an eye out for the yellow-red flags and you should be able to find it. : ) The lady who owns it is very friendly and it is a nice people watching spot as well.

Street Food - Edit
Street food is always the way to go in Thailand and this place is a great way to experience that as a vegan! Very authentic, the soup has a basic flavour so that the customer can dress it up with the condiments on the table (which is common in traditional Thai cuisine). Very cheap compared to other veg restaurants (only 40 baht for soup noodle!) Only wish is that there is more variety but I understand the limitations as it’s a small stall.

Vegan Food Cart - Edit
•••previous reviews have mentioned the wrong location on Happy Cow which is correct. Turn into Pan Road next to the Hindu temple and the food Cart is around 50m on your left just past the side entrance to the temple on the opposite side of the road•••This vegan Food Cart offers a decent option if you’re in the area. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there are only 2 dishes to choose from and very few seats. The food was tasty, I chose stir fried veg with tofu and rice, the other option was a noodle soup. Staff were super friendly and I would return for sure if I’m staying in lower Silom.

Great Local Vegan Cuisine - Edit
I keep coming back to this cart because one it is Vegan and secondly the woman who owns the cart makes really tasty food.
Read moreAll meals are 40 Baht each which is just shy of $2, so good value for money and you get a big portion. Today the cook saw me plowing through my meal and topped me up with a big spoonful as extra (felt very motherly) haha.
The location is good. There is also some other markets across the main road and some sell fruit and smoothies.
They don’t speak the best English, however this hasn’t affected the customer service as you can still point and choose what you want with no problems.
Pros: Price, Location, Pure Vegan Cart

The food is made with lots of love. Fresh ingredients, very tastefull and lots of choice. They also have a card with juices. I tried one and I loved it. The juice and the springrolls were the best I ever tasted. The place is clean and airconditioned. The staff friendly and helpful. Thank you ladies!

Rare Vegan Street Food - Edit
While there are plenty of vegan eateries in Bangkok, you don't see many 100% vegan street food stalls, but this is one of them.
Read moreThey usually have a choice of around 4-6 hot dishes that are served with rice, and also a choice of around 4 noodles types for their noodle soup, which is what I always have,
The soup is tasty and only costs 40 baht, which is just over $1. Friendly staff. They don't speak English, but it's easy enough to just point at what you want.
A bonus is that it's opposite Thailand's most famous Indian Temple. Turn into Pan Road from Silom Road and you'll see the stall on your left, at the end of the first row of shops. Closed on Mondays, which is street cleaning day in Bangkok.
Pros: 100% Vegan, Tasty food, Cheap
Cons: Sometime it's a little hot sitting there

Tasty noodle soup for 40 Baht - Edit
As a previous reviewer mentioned, it's quite close to Silom Road- almost right across from the Hindu temple. I ate there twice and the noodle soup in the evening was much tastier than in the morning. They also serve a few curries and other veggie dishes but I opted for soup as everything else looked kinda sad.

Convenient vegan fast food stand, near another vegan restaurant - Edit
The actual location of the stand (end of May, 2017) was much closer to Silom road than indicated on the map. It is actually closer to the road and the Hindu temple than the other, A-Ma restaurant (although they are near each other, just on the opposite sides of the street). Keep an eye on the yellow Thai vegan flags, the "kin jay" flags (as depicted), in order not to confuse the place with another food stand that serves meat dishes :) It is pretty much opposite the Hindu temple, maybe some 5 or 10 meters back, and on the other side.

fresh street food. - Edit
Kuhn Poo the owner and cook at this stall can be seen at 9:00 am every Tuesday thru Sunday cooking up her amazing vegan Thai stir fries and noodle soup base. The noodle soup here is my favorite. For about 40 to 50 baht you get a huge bowl of hot delicious noodle soup filled with rice noodles, veggies, mock pork and mushroom balls topped with crispy won ton and fried garlic. This is as authentic as it gets. Not only do you get fresh cooking but you can watch her prepare every dish there. A definite add to your street food stops if in Bangkok. It's located on Thanon Pan almost directly across from the Indian Temple and Indian sweets shop.

Good Alternative - Edit
Even though Bonita has moved from Pan Road (to nearby Silom Road soi 26) this street still offers quite a number of places offering vegan and vegetarian food. The street food cart compliments what's on offer. Whilst small in choice, usually a choice of two curries and two trays of veg, it's good food and available when a number of nearby places are closed. Two friendly women in charge of this operation. 40 baht for a plate of food.
