Great vegan options - Edit
Loved the choice of healthy vegan options - tried the mock dock salad which was great. Kale chips were u fortunately a tad greasy. Tried to go back a few months later for mock duck salad as I had a hankering for it but was out - was a bit disappointed. Would give it a try again

Marvellous Place - Edit
*Update on 27.04.18* A few months ago they started serving meat dishes which was a huge disappointment for me. I haven't been since but the change from vegetarian to a meat serving place really puts me off.

I went there for dinner on a Saturday evening.
The interior is simple but welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I had a juice, a Buddha bowl, the vegan brownie and an oat milk flat white. The food came quickly, in good portion sizes and was delicious!
I was lucky and went there on a night with live music. The ambience was wonderful and I left the place happy and satisfied.

Tasteless and disappointing - Edit
My partner and I had a Buddha Bowl each, both filled with healthy ingredients but which oddly tasted of absolutely nothing. Juices also weren't made to order meaning they are sat around for a while becoming less nutritious. Disappointing :(

Slow service, mediocre food - Edit
What a disappointing experience. Excruciatingly slow service for what seemed to be two very simple dishes (nachos and Buddha bowl), served at a tepid temperature. Food was average, certainly not worth the wait - and quite pricey too. Will not return, there are far better vegan-friendly restaurants in Liverpool!

Vegan scotch egg!!! - Edit
Delicious food, beautifully presented. Fairly pricey by Liverpool's standards, but worth it for a treat. I had the vegan scotch egg (I have no idea how a runny fake egg yolk was created using tofu, but it was, and it blew my mind), and partner had the mini veggie burgers with vegan cheese (cute). We shared the brownie which was incredible. Also been lucky enough to try the chocolate mousse on a food market day which was amazing! There is not sufficient vocabulary to do this place justice in terms of quality of the food. Closest thing to vegan fine dining I've seen outside of London, delivered by friendly staff who are informed about vegan options. Full marks.

Room for improvement - Edit
I ordered hummus and flatbread from the vegan menu and my partner ordered the scotch egg from the vegetarian menu. It took 20 minutes for a waitress to come take our order then an hour for our food to arrive and it wasn't even busy in there. We weren't asked if we would like any drinks either. By the time we had had the food we were not prepared to wait for dessert so we paid and left. For the portion size it was way overpriced. I was also asked how much I would like to add on as a tip when I was paying as if it was expected of me. About half an hour later I was throwing up horribly and felt so ill. The only thing that causes this is when I have dairy so there must have been dairy in the food I ate as I had not eaten anything else that day.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
Our Kitchen has a complete vegan menu on the reverse of its vegetarian menu, including kids menu and lots of beverage choices. We ordered from the vegan menu. I had the falafel and the super food salads which were delicious! The falafel was the best I have ever had. The super food salad contained every super food you can think of; quinoa, broccoli, betroot, pumpkin, pomegranate seeds, etc. My friend, who is not vegan, ordered the nachos. He was very impressed, and as he is sous chef at a Michelin starred restaurant that is high praise indeed. I went back the next night and ordered the nachos for myself! Lovely ambience and good location. Would recommend.

Vegan joint in the heart of Merseyside! - Edit
Dressed in beautiful minimalist decor, Our Kitchen feels impressively spacious and atmospheric, despite only being a small little space.
Read moreIt boasts a varied vegetarian and vegan menu - without being too overwhelming (the best kind right?), and from what we saw coming from the kitchen, the serves were colourful and plentiful. Think vegan nachos, falafel and hummus, and jam-packed Buddha bowls.
Unfortunately, due to some technical and communicative errors during our visit, we can't accurately comment on the food or service, but we appreciate these things happen and we'd love to go back some time. Especially for those smoothies and desserts... They looked lush!
It's very cool to see a vegetarian/vegan joint in the heart of Liverpool and we will be hoping to find a chance to get there again. Check them out!
Pros: Liverpool based , Atmosphere, Vegan and veggie menu
Cons: Recently opened, still finding its feet

healthy vegan options! - Edit
Clearly marked vegan options! The full menu is vegetarian with one of the pages dedicated to all the vegan dishes. They have breakfast and lunch dishes, take away fridge, serving homemade juices and smoothies all day. My pick was their breakfast hummus and kale toast, delicious!! I went back for a healthy lunch, but they were not serving the panko olives neither the vegan cheesecake so I cannot give a full review on that (I ordered the falafel and sundae instead which were ok). The place is lovely. But please have some olives and vegan cheesecake ready for me next time!!
