The best vegan fast food I've ever eaten. - Edit
My wife and I live locally and use any excuse we can come up with to visit. Our toddler loves the food here too - our favourite is the vfc burger which is immense, filling, reasonably priced and cruelty free. They always have different specials and amazing cakes too, although we're usually so full that we have to get it to take out! Can't recommend enough.

Fully vegan, which for someone who lives in an area where we're lucky to even get vegan options, was fantastic. All the veganised treats you could ever wish for. And the cakes are both adorable and delicious.

I was super excited to try this place on a recent visit to York. I chose the the fish burger (as I have a massive [censored] for pretend fish) and for the price wish I'd chosen something else. I found it bland and unexciting. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying the fried chicken in a basket, maybe I should of got that. Unfortunately I found the staff quiet rude and lacking in customers service skills which has put me off a return visit.

Visited here just before lockdown started. It was pretty good, just your average vegan junk food, the staff however were a bunch of pretentious hipsters who seem to think they're too cool to sell you a burger. After we entered they spent a few minutes chatting between themselves (whilst glancing over at us) before actually taking our order.

Fast service, friendly staff, delicious food. When you’re craving something salty or junk food like, once across the garden is the best. I’d recommend their hot dogs any day. They also do super delicious cakes.

Came across this by accident - all vegan and so so good. We tried the chicken and the tofu. Honestly so tasty. The irn bru sauce seemed like a weird thing so we tried it and it’s so sweet and lovely. Staff were nice too, thumbs up!

This is just what we were missing in York, a fully vegan junk food place. The food is great, I've had the VFC pieces a few times and they have a selection of sauces. I cant wait to try the fish n chips and burgers. The cakes are also very delicious!

Fantastic place serving sensational plant based savoury fast food and delicious home made sweet treats. We picked up a large portion of fried chikn with a curry ketchup side to take away. Little chicken you are safe here.

Had the crunchy burger and chips for a takeaway lunch. Good service, huge portions (won't be needing much for dinner tonight), very reasonable prices, superb food. Customising my order was also no fuss for them. Cannot recommend highly enough - it's just such a tough decision whether to go here or Humpit over the road, especially when you only visit York once or twice a year.
