So many vegan choices! So yummy! - Edit
All of the gelato here is vegan, and there are at least 15 flavors to choose from—all made in-house. In addition to gelato, they offer several other desserts, which also appeared to be vegan. There’s also a savory food menu with a few vegan options.
Read moreMy husband and I shared a few dishes. The Potato Melt Plant was good, though the menu mentioned “crispy grilled potatoes” as the base, and it turned out to be a bed of French fries instead. The Veggie Tofu Panini was excellent—the tofu had great flavor and texture.
For dessert, we tried a scoop of dark chocolate gelato and one of coffee gelato—both were absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back again!

1. Look at their own website. It says "all our products are 100% vegan".

This restaurant is lying on 3 different websites about being vegan.
But they sell tuna, chicken, turkey, and cheese. Take the green leaf off this place. They've been selling animal products since at least June 2025. Now it's January 2026 and they have been deceiving customers for over half a year now.
(Happycow doesn't allow you to give 1⭐ rating to vegan restaurants, so I was forced to give them a 2⭐ rating)

However, due to the financial challenges that many small local businesses have faced, we recently decided to add a few (only three) non-vegan items to our menu in order to keep our doors open.
We made this decision with great respect and transparency — not to move away from our values, but to ensure that we could continue serving the vegan and conscious community that has supported us from the beginning.
Our menu remains predominantly vegan, and all our desserts and ice creams are still completely plant-based and made in-house with love and care. 💛
We understand if this change affects how some directories list us, and we respect every customer’s right to choose where they dine.

Not Vegan, disappointing food quality. Good deserts. - Edit
Now serves meat, food quality has gone way downhill. Still has lots of vegan options, but they are mostly low effort frozen patties / Gardien on cheap buns and extremely overpriced for what you’re getting. Vegan Gelato is very good, perhaps they should stick to deserts. Also online ordering menu doesn’t match up to in store menu, and rather than employees saying something they just gave us somewhat similar items, but not what we ordered.

Prettiest food I’ve ever seen - Edit
Let’s start with lunch. It looks so pretty, like it was in a catalog. The lunch menu for actual food is a little limited, but what they have is delicious and very filling. The burger is not a beyond or impossible.

The gelato was super smooth, creamy and delicious. Lots of great flavors. Also tried the tres leches and the lemon tart…pretty good.

I’m from the MidAtlantic, where famous bakery Vegan Treats reigns supreme. This is one of the closest places I’ve been to what Vegan Treats does, and actually I appreciate the differences… while both have things like mousse, cheesecake, and other pastries/desserts, this place has cool stuffed croissants, acai bowls, sandwiches, and more. Food was tasty but small portions for the price.

THIS place has sooooooo many things going for it, has qualities lacking from your typical vegan establishment. First: Origamy is a beautiful place with lovely ambience, really cute decor inside and spacious. Second: Origamy has nice seating and a decent amount of seating, too, both inside and outside. Third: The pastries are yummy but the gelato ice cream is outstanding. Trying the lemon basil flavour is an absolute MUST. Fourth: You don't have to binge solely on sugary treats only. There is a menu with other options including lunch sandwiches. FIFTH: Friendly service and SIX: this place is open lots of hours, like a normal business. SEVEN: Love the TV on the wall with the looping videos of animals. I strongly urge you to visit!

My boyfriend and I came here thinking it would have some vegan options but then we were thrilled to find out everything is vegan. We got the chocolate croissant, green tea latte, tiramisu, and two gelato flavors (pistachio and chocolate). All were scrumptious! Come here.
