⭐️⭐️

Vegan appetizers include seaweed salad, edamame, and shishito peppers. All of these are pretty standard/common. None of the entrees or rolls are marked vegan on the menu. The Haru roll can be made vegan if they substitute the soy paper for nori since the soy paper contains egg. I confirmed twice with our server that I wanted the Haru roll made vegan and it still came out in the soy paper. They remade the roll and luckily I was dining with non-vegans so the other roll wasn’t complete food waste. Still, that does not instill confidence in ordering vegan food here. I also find that adding “greens” aka lettuce to a roll is a really, um, interesting choice for a $14 veggie roll. I personally don’t want half of my sushi roll to be lettuce. None of the desserts (at this time at least) here are vegan. The cocktails are okay but for the price I wasn’t impressed. I personally wouldn’t return. I thought it was overpriced, not especially vegan-friendly, and the music was so loud I couldn’t hear the person sitting across from me.
