Delicious vegan options in Wolverhampton city centre - Edit
It’s fair to say Wolverhampton city centre could have a few more options for vegans. It’s a good job therefore that Nutmeg is a small but mighty establishment when it comes to vegan food.

I tried the quorn shawarma wrap with salad, tahini and hummus and straight away with the first bite I could tell this place knew food! My partner had the vegan mince flatbread which was equally divine and we polished off the visit with a slice of chocolate cake. Other offerings include lasagne, falafel, burgers and black sesame seed chicken.
If you sit in you get to enjoy the charming interior filled with a collection of art and there are a few window seats for you to people watch as you enjoy your food. It’s a small and charming venue. It’s also refreshing to see a place where the staff are truly very open to feedback - the vegan version black sesame seed chicken dish didn’t exist until popular demand made it so and they were happy to create it! It really is a gem for Wolverhampton to be proud of, whether you’re vegan or not and if you try it for yourself you’ll see why it has such loyal customers.
